Does it come with a lid? If not where can I get one?

The product photos show a lidded example, also I found this lid linked on the tub product page: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007XIXZYK?psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWwy Not sure what size it is but it seems lids are out there. It appears that tubtrugs have been renamed gorilla tubs? So that should help with searching for lids.

Would this be easy to carry as a beach bag? by the handles?

It's not really too big to be considered a bag. But it would be nice way to tote beach supplies such as lunch blankets towels and such. :)

What are they made of?

Flexible plastic. We love them, use them for water for the horse paddocks. Easy to crack ice if they get a bit of ice on top without breaking the bucket. There are a lot of uses! Have used them for years!
