Profoto OCF Compact and Lightweight 3-Feet Softbox Octa for Profoto Flashes with LED Modeling Light, Includes Labeled Soft Bag

I bought and used this softbox to take the place of my heavier Cheetah 3’ softbox. While the Profoto 3’ octa produces great light, two of the guide rods popped through the material, after one use. I couldn’t believe how cheaply made and how little thought was put into their manufacturing. Absolute fail on “Pro”foto’s part. Profoto, you have to do better if you’re going to ask the prices you do. Your 3’ octa is not worth even a dollar if it’s going to break that fast.Update: I tried replacing this broken softbox and see if the second was made differently… I mean, it’s Profoto; if there’s a problem that’s evident in one use, surely they’d not be mass producing them. Wrong! Profoto is continuing to make them the same way. The second box is already stretching and the rods are ready to rip through the material. Ridiculous, Profoto, ridiculous.
