Extra Layer Of Security
Used it for the first time today & the level of heat it gives off is really comforting. You know it's sterilizing the cups well with the level of heat the steamer it gives off (200-220Β°).Just be sure to read the instructions first because I've read some of the reviews & it's comical because people are complaining about things that were in the instructions lol.Be sure to set your timer once you turn the system on. FYI, the instructions does NOT say it shuts itself off after the recommended 8-10 minutes are up. What it says is that it will shut itself off once it detects all the water has evaporated out of the steamer (paraphrasing here)...ijs lol.The small amount of water (15-20ML) placed in the chamber will keep the steamer going pasted the 8-10 minutes. I haven't tried to see how much longer because I've only ever set my timer for 10 minutes for both usages & both times there was a tiny amount of water still in the chamber. With that said, I highly recommend because simply hand washing something that I'm INSERTING into my V makes me nervous. Immediately AFTER I hand wash the cup, I put it in the steamer to get it sterilized...providing that extra lay of security.UPDATE: So last night I slept thru the 10 minute timer; leaving it on for hours. When I finally awoke & realized this, I went to check the steamer to find that the system indeed was not OFF, BUT it also was NOT omitting any heat. The chamber was bone dry, but more importantly, the system was not hot π! So essentially, I guess it did turn itself off without turning off the power button, BUT (hold that thought)....With that, I proceeded to use the bathroom to switch out the cups. I handwashed the soiled cup, added more water to the chamber, placed the cup in the steamer, set the timer, then went back to bed lol. I did not sleep thru the timer, but I did ignore it because I didn't feel like getting back up. I think I let it run for about 20-25 minutes before getting up to turn it off.BUT, get this...it shut itself OFF as I walked into the bathroom to turn it off & unplug itπ€·π½ββοΈ! I mean I heard it click & saw the power button go off LOL. I checked the chamber to see how much water was left in it & it was all gone. Not bone dry like after hours of leaving it on, but empty nonetheless. While shaking my head in amusement, I just unplugged the unit & went back to bed LOL!!While a bit inconsistent, I'm keeping this unit & I still stand by my πππππ rating! π€©

I'm Happy with It
I'm happy with this menstrual cup steamer. It works. I have been using it to steam my cup before and after each period for almost two years. I like this steamer small size and pretty print. What I appreciate the most about this steamer is that it steams my menstrual cup for an adequate amount of time. The time doesn't feel too short or too long. I know this steamer steams at a high temperature because my cup feels really hot if taken out of this steamer promptly. I feel confident that my cup is getting really clean when I use this steamer. There are only two cons I have experienced with this steamer. One con is the on button doesn't atomically shut off when it's finished. I have to manually do it myself. I'm fine with this con but wish I did not have to do that because everything else works so well. The last con is very minor. A very small section of the pretty print came off it. I really like using this steamer. I have tried another steamer from a more well-known brand, but I prefer this one because I like how long it steams my menstrual cup.

Wow! This baby works
Ok, so I tend to be a skeptical about most things. Having converted to using menstrual cups, Nixit, I knew there was no way I was sacrificing a kitchen pot to sanitize them. Yeah, nope. So I bought another brand steamer that the Nixit would fit into. It worked great, like once. Then, sporadically but, mostly not at all. It got warm-ish but I didn't feel that it was sterilizing anything. So, I started my search again and found this little cutie. She's pretty and doesn't look like a cup steamer. In fact, it looks more like a diffuser than anything. And it's quiet. No noise when operating. In fact, I don't know how long a full cycle really is. I put my cup in to sanitize during my shower. And 20-30 minutes later, it's still cycling. And that baby is hot when it comes out of the sanitizer. Every. Time. Pretty, effective and just what I needed.

Convenient, Easy way to Clean Cups and Discs
I use this to clean my menstrual discs, and it works great. So much easier than boiling and a lot more discreet too. Only one word of caution: Make sure your kids know it's NOT an essential oil diffuser. I had it running on the bathroom counter while I was working in the kitchen, and my 4 year old got too close thinking the steam would smell good. Well, this does produce STEAM, not cool water vapor like a diffuser (makes sense since the whole point is to steam sanitize), and it's HOT. Warn your kids...don't assume they won't be interested!

Do not use with cups that have a loop underneath
Do not purchase this if you have a menstrual cup with a loop on the bottom. the applicator caught hold of the loop on the bottom of cup and it was not a pleasant experience

Works well
So far, so good. The steamer is a much more pleasant option than the stove. The only thing is that it doesn't automatically turn off, so you'll have to do it, or it turns back on every 10 minutes or so. Don't turn it on and leave, you may burn the heating element up. Quick and clean. Paid extra for the pretty pattern. Hope it lasts for a long time. Cups are not great after the first use, keep using whatever kind you use that actually work. A little frustrating, but the reviews did warn me about the cups.

Convenient and easy
This steamer is great because boiling on a stovetop or microwave is not convenient for me. This device perfectly cleans in 3-5 mins. Its silent and the dome is discreet which is exactly what i wanted. The steam gets HOT but cleans way better than just soap and water. Use caution when lifting the lid because that gets hot too. Would recommend.
