86 Series ball valves have a compact, two piece body and a standard port where flow is a consideration. Spring loaded stem seal provides automatic compensation for stem seal wear and thermal expansion and contraction. Each valve is bubble tested to ensure reliable, leak tight performance. The material of construction is a 316 stainless steel bar stock body with a 316 stainless steel ball and stem. The seats and stem seal are glass reinforced P.T.F.E. (Teflon). The pipe connections are NPT, female screwed end. Ratings: Pressure/Temperature -50°F to 450°F, 720 psi C.W.P. (Cold Working Pressure – 150°F), Saturated Steam to 150 psi and a Vacuum rating of 20 Microns.

To actuate (open/close) the 86 Series Ball Valve we offer our 600 Series electric actuator designed for durability and longevity. Featuring a simple push button manual override design with exclusive fold-out lever handle which provides for easy manual operation. Motor is reversing, brushless, capacitor run with integral thermal overload protection with auto-reset (AC models only). Motor is 120AC 50/60Hz, single phase with maintenance-free permanently lubricated gear train. The NEMA 4X enclosure is made from UL approved DuPont FR50, fire and impact resistant with a Teflon coated cast aluminum base. Two 1/2" NPT conduit ports prevent interference between control and power signals. The 615 model has a 100% duty cycle supplied on valve sizes ¼" – 1". The 630 model has a 75% duty cycle supplied on valve sizes 1-1/4"– 2". Ambient temperature rating is 150°F. Cycle time for both models is approximately 6 seconds. Optional limit switches, heater and thermostat are available.
