Simplicity Teen's and Adult's Wizard Costume and Ninja Costume Sewing Patterns, Sizes XS-XL

I got this pattern to use for a Jedi costume for my friends wedding. We used the bottom left and right pattern/picture to create the costume. Thankfully my mom is awesome at sewing and was able to pull it off. However, I feel that anyone would be able to repeat the modifications. She lengthen the armor parts in both the front and back. I have included a picture of the finished product. If you don't want to modify it like she did, it will still turn out great. The instructions are clear and easy to follow for those that have used sewing patterns. One more part to this, I wanted this longer than what the pattern would have suggested for my size. Once again, my mom just lengthened the tunic to make this work. We didn't make the dicky part since it was only a partial piece of fabric to be used. I wore a tank top underneath for the wedding (in picture a tshirt) but a brown tshirt would work if you feel it will be too hot. We used a linen blend for this with stiffing fabric.Please vote if this review was helpful!

I made the robe pattern (the top left, blue one) and it was quite easy. I had to take in the sides and I should have shortened it since I didn't want the pooling of the material as pictured. It's probably the first thing I've made from scratch and completed, actually.I really like the look of this item though, and customizing it has been fun. I went with a fuzzy fleece rather than the recommended materials but the directions were easy to follow and relatively simple. Glad I bought it, and will probably reuse in the future.

My daughter loves to cosplay, so she has sewn one costume for Comicon, already and she is a beginner. Turned out great,! Great pattern!!

I bought this pattern for the B cloak (Large).To begin this review, let me just say, I have not sewn in... 10+ years. Before that most of my projects were self creations. I was very glad to find this pattern so simple to follow and easy to sew. I used a basic cotton cloth which I am sure helped in the ease, but overall, excellent product. If this pattern is supposed to be for all sizes then I will say it makes it very loose for the "small" Obviously hemming can fix the length but the width may need to be adjusted if you are smaller.

I used the wizard robe and capelet pattern for my Fire Emblem Katarina cosplay and it was excellent! I modified it a bit to fit the character but the patterns were super easy to use! I’m 5’6 150 lbs and the robe was a bit large so scale up or down according to your measurements

New, unused item. Easy to cut and sew. Directions are pretty straightforward compared to some other patterns. Fits Saber Guild requirements with minor alterations.EDIT: the pattern says to cut 2 collars but you have to cut 4 otherwise the band isn't the right width.

Excellent pattern, gotta choose a fabric with good drape to really bring out the aspects of the garment type.I made a Jedi Mulan cosplay for a friend with this. Good pattern, very simple, will use again and again.Can also be used to make a short bathrobe.

It's probably just that I'm unfamiliar with using patterns to sew clothing items, but the process of cutting out each individual pattern piece that is made for varying sizes is tedious and time-consuming.

Ich habe für meinen Mann ein Jedi-Kostüm genäht und hierfür dieses Schnittmuster als Grundlage verwendet und ein wenig angepasst, wo ich fand dass es passend war. Die Anleitung ist leicht verständlich und ließ sich für mich auch leicht anpassen sodass es auf meinen Mann genau zugeschnitten war. Das Einzige, das ich beim nächsten Mal ändern würde, ist statt dem Dickey ein ganzes Unterhemd zu nähen, da es hin und wieder verrutscht ist.Kann ich nur jedem weiterempfehlen der nach Schnittmustern für eine Jedi-Tunika sucht.
