Q: For those that use this pot with leca, does it work well?

I’m having trouble with my African violets soul getting to wet and leaves are rotting. Am I doing something wrong?

Q: Deos the rope grow algae or mold?

I have 8 of these pots for over 2 years. There is only one that has a little green on the string. Most likely it has to do with the location I place the pot at.

Q: What is the wick made of?

A round porous cloth wick that seems to be cotton.
