My pens haven’t smeared.
The only concern I had when I purchased these was wether ink would smear. I use a Sharpie ultra fine pen and a gel pen and I haven’t had any issues at all!

Would not recommend using gel pens as they can smear but great for notes in books or on any presentation where you still want to see what’s underneath

Awesome for anatomy notetaking
Drawing/tracing body parts really helps to learn the bones, muscles and tendons for me, and these really help!! Plus I am able to to do layers and move the note if needed, which is also nice.

Only use sharpie!!!!
Great product. However I highly recommend only using sharpie on these if you do not want the ink to transfer on other pages.
