Ande Monofilament Line (Clear, 50 -Pounds Test, 1/4# Spool)

I have been using the 50lb Ande monofilament for a few years now. the quality is great and it has the perfect amount of stretch. I fish around piers and rocks and have only gotten cut off twice with this line, both times due to my own error. it has great abrasion resistance. if you're like me and tie FG knots when lure fishing id recommend this line. much easier to Tie FG knots with this line vs fluorocarbon and other brands of mono I've used.

Best line out there for consistency. I use this in place of the leader spools I used to buy - I rig a lot of leaders for big game fly fishing and Ande consistently tests right near their rated test (usually within 1 lb). This consistency tells me that the diameter is very consistent which is important when you want a leader section to unroll consistently in casting as well as being able to depend on your knot strength. I like to test every brand of line I use for knot strength with my preferred rigging and Ande has yet to fail me in that regard. Very important - I regularly catch fish in excess of 100# on fly rod with 16# class tippet so every section and piece of my rigging has to be dependable.

I purchased this to hang artwork from picture rails in our old house (1909). Works as expected, easy to work with. Made in Germany not China which I find pretty cool.

Good line for general all around fishing.

Used to fish porgy, blackfish. Works well.

After many years Ande seems to be the only like I trust to tie my hooks. They held up to abrasion and to their pound ratings.

For years I have used ANDE monofilament. I know the product well and it's easy to order online and know exactly what I am getting. With the new age of super lines and Spectra, I still have the need for mono topshots and "shock leaders" and it fits this role nicely. I still like the pink line...it is hard for the deckhands to see, which means it should be really hard for the fish to see!
