This product was advertised to fit my older Samsung black-and-white printer. It installed seamlessly and works like a charm. I would have preferred not to buy two but the price was so good that it was fine

Cartridge fit well in my Samsung Express M2885FW. When I went to put in the replacement cartridge with the pirnter powered up - the printer flagged it as an incompatible cartridge and would not print. I powered off the printer, removed and replaced the cartridge and plug the pirnter back in and it recognized it and statused the cartridge at 100%.So happy so far as I've ran it installed for 5 minutes and ran thru a dozen test pages with it printing flawlessly. May report back in a while after it has been used for a long while. Later.

Purchased in September 2018 for a Samsung M2875FW and just now replacing first cartridge. Images have been great up until recently when they started to lighten. When I replaced the cartridge, the printer data indicated that 25% of cartridge life remained, and only 1,971 images were made from a 3,000 page cartridge capacity. I understand that the print capacity estimate is based on a percentage of coverage on each page, but I mostly print out Word documents, so only having 2/3 of the print capacity was a little disappointing, but definitely not a deal breaker. I took the cartridge out and shook it, but the images remained light.On a positive note, I had no compatibility issues, each cartridge registered as new when installed, and I had no jams or technical issues. The cartridges were packaged as advertised, with protective ribbons and a cap over the roller. At $15 per cartridge, even with the lower output, you are still paying less than a penny per page (.0075).I just purchased another set, so I would recommend for the price and quality.

I ordered these 2 cartridges because they were inexpensive and the reviews were not terrible. The reviews were wrong. The Samsung brand cartridge slides into place like silk. These pieces of crap simply do not go in. It looks like they go in and if you're lucky you can close the cover but nothing prints. Gosh, why is that? When you look inside the printer you see that these cartridges cannot line up on the right-side track properly. The end on the right is sticking up too high. The instruction label says, "After cartridge installation, if "Not recognized cartridge" or "Installa new cartridge" message is shown,switch off and switch on the printer for 1-3 times to resume the chip to be recognized." I have typed it exactly as it reads. The mangled translation should have tipped me off. Anyway, I was able to put my old cartridge back in and get some more life out of it. I thought I would try these things again at a later date. Still don't work and now the return window is closed.Heed my words, O Consumer! Do not be lured into spending your hard-earned pennies on this garbage!

I received this package of two toner cartridges last week and immediately installed one in our Samsung M2885FW printer. I had read a number of the reviews, some of which noted possible incompatibility with the printer, so I unplugged the printer prior to the installation to ensure a cold start. Whether that was necessary is unclear. What I can tell you is that the printer functioned normally afterward. The cartridge is indicated as being full, and the printing is perfect. So I'm well pleased with this product and happy to award it five stars. I suggest that the listing in Amazon.com make it clearer that the box contains TWO cartridges; I didn't see that in print but the box seemed too large for one cartridge.** Added on 17 Aug 2018: Just installed the second of the two cartridges ordered above. First one worked just fine but eventually ran low so I put in the second one. It's working like a charm, as well. Due to my great experience with the first cartridge and evidently the second as well, I ordered a second pair of cartridges. Yes, we do a fair amount of home printing.

We are replacing our first toner for a Samsung Xpress M2825DW. I found Samsung (now part of HP's printer division) branded cartridges at roughly half the price of the printer, which is not unusual, so we were encouraged to price shop an off brand. We found this one at roughly 1/3 the price of the Samsung cartridge brand. Half expecting there to be issues, but worth the ~$40 in savings (plus Amazon delivered same day), I was not surprised to find the instructions off and my cartridge not as described per the illustrations. For instance, my cartridge had no pull tabs (orange ring) or paper insert [step 3 in instructions] nor did it have the seal tape or orange tab [step 5 in instructions]. Nevertheless, it printed the test page fine. If I have an issue in the next week will circle back to Amazon, as opposed to following the terms of the FAQ which requests that customers contact customer service.

The price was right but both of the cartridges we received had printing issues on the left side of the page.
