We bought these steps to replace our old steps and were impressed with the sturdiness and the appearance of them. They fit perfect and came with new screws.

This product was a great replacement for the original step that just broke in half from years of use. It’s sturdy, and assembled easily.

The steps are definitely not as solid as other steps and it was difficult to tighten the nuts and the bolts to our metal rails. The ladder is significantly more flimsy than before, but for the price, it’ll last for hopefully a season. I sense they may break soon under the weight of an adult.

It was a nice upgrade to my old pool ladder steps. Nicely made, easy to install and almost twice as wide as my old steps, allowing more surface for your feet when climbing in or out of the pool. The only issue is that these steps make the ladder want to float, pulling the stair away from the side of the pool. It keeps the ladder from sitting secure against the pool. When installing I changed the location of the flanges to try and compensate for this effect, but it did not work. My guess this effect is due to the lighter plastic material and the wider width of each stair.It doesn’t affect the functionality, since when you step on a rung, your weight pushes the ladder back against the pool side.My only concern is the movement may weaken the wood where the ladder flanges are screwed to the deck.
