Never bought a ball before and purchased for a gift. It’s nice, but nothing special. The colors are more matte. So I suppose as the old saying goes “you get what you pay far”. I’m reading how it cracks, so hoping this isn’t a issue when it gets drilled. Honestly, I wish it came pre drilled. Just seems like a lot of time and energy for a cheap, beginner ball. For the price range, it should just have generic hole sizes. IE “small, medium, large”etc. Good beginner ball? Yes, if that’s what you’re looking for. My advice, for this price, try to find one pre drilled. Why pay more money to have a ball drilled, that’s a slight step up from balls you can use for free at any bowling alley? Most places if you buy from them, will drill for free and guarantee if the ball cracks. In this case, you buy cheap in hopes it doesn’t crack and if it does.. send it back? After you spent more money to have it drilled?! That’s a lot of hassle for this level of ball. So unless you really love the ball.. thanks, but no thanks.

Love the style and performance!
Son (18) is very athletic. Just started bowling weekly and decided he wants his own ball. He bought this ball and his first renal was that it looks even better than online pictures. He researched a lot of different balls too.Hiss only complaint was that it cost him $35 to have it professionally drilled to his liking! :-) So don't expect the ball to come drilled, that is just ridiculous. Every person throws the ball differently, and had different size fingers. So he got it professional drilled, for straight throwing (no curve)... He consistently bowls over 100 every game, *an increase of 10 points per game!

I find it annoying that there was not a weight on the ball
I find it annoying that there was not a weight on the ball! I wish the company was ready to pay 1 cent more & place a sticker on it to show you the weight! I just weighed it on my bathroom scale! I hope my son like it! The colors look better on the picture than in person.
