Q: I'm interested in buying one but there's so many reviews that say the tank leaks. Has this quality control issue been fixed yet?

well, i had a leak problem but because of the looks and physical features i spent a few dollars and purchased a liquid sealer and fixed the simple issue

Both of mine leak as well, Very disappointed. They look nice but are worthless for use.

Hi, I’ve not heard these claims and have been selling these items for 10 years. I do know that the Jupiter lamp which holds 32 oz of oil requires kerosene only. However, for the blizzard, air pilot d-lite lamps which all use 7/8” wick, paraffin/clean burning oil will work and has worked just fine for my lamps. Hope this helps.
