This ring is inspired by sentimental vintage French jewelry, Our Lady, Mary, mother of Jesus, stands in an oval frame against a serene turquoise enamel background. The frame is inscribed with the verse of the Miraculous Medal, a prayer for intercession and assistance. "O Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse to thee." The oval is mounted on a vintage die struck setting, bordered with prong set pearls. It is embraced by filigree leaves which join the oval to the ring shank, a tapering, comfortable pierced band that may be adjusted to fit sizes 6 through 9. It is a large statement ring with wonderful details and textures and is finished in both burnished silver and bronze.
