Gadget Guard Black Ice Tempered Glass Screen Protector for Apple iPhone 6S/7/8 (packaging may vary)

This stuff is AWESOME. I purchased this one to replace one from 2016! I had a waterfall case by Casemate on my iPhone7, with a black ice glass cover. This case and the glass cover did exactly what I needed it to for over 4 years. I needed to send my phone to Apple for a repair (thanks to their update that fried my phone), so I decided it was time for a new case and protective glass. When I gave Apple my phone the tech said it looked like it had just come out of the box, he couldn't believe the phone was 4+ years old. So, this new case and protective glass is just as great, who knows, maybe I will keep this iPhone7 another 4 years!

I had one installed on my phone when I first bought the phone and it worked great, protecting my phone screen perfectly, in spite of my extraordinarily rough and tumble treatment of the phone.Eventually, after a number of HARD years the protector cracked -but held strong - and as I was getting a new case for the phone, decided to replace the screen protector too.The original screen protector kept the phone screen perfectly and now with the new protector in place and a new case for the phone, I’m ready to continue abusing my phone for MORE years!I HIGHLY recommend the Black Ice Glass Edition screen protector from “Gadget Guard”!

I can vouge for this product. I am a Mason. I mainly travel and finish precast concrete. I have used this on my note 10 plus. I dropped my phone face down on hardened concrete and not a single scratch or crack. The back is protected with a case. I use this on my screen only. In a case your glasses will still crack. Not with this stuff it won't.

I very meticulously put this on my wife's iPhone 8. Approximately 1mm all the way around the edge doesn't seal down to the phone's glass. It is noticeable in the reflective light and looks like it will allow dirt and moisture to get under the edge of the protector. I can press on the protector and it adheres to the phone glass. As soon as I release the pressure it releases it's seal. I have the same model of phone and the exact same protector on my phone and it seats down very well. Not sure of there was a change in the phone glass or the protector.

Great product, it's very hard to put on yourself though. Every time I break the tempered glass, I order a new one and take it to verizon and they'll put it on for free. No air bubbles in it, no cracks. Last time I dropped my phone the tempered glass cracked, but protected my phone which is what it is supposed to do. If you buy one, have your phone provider put it on your phone. It's easy and will save you the trouble

This is the best brand I’ve come across for screen protectors. Since I got my phone In 2015 I’ve had the screen replaced 3 times and while I used this brand the real screen underneath always seemed to last the longest after a drop. It won’t 100% keep your screen from cracking but for the most part prevents the actual screen from being damaged. Replace immediately after cracking the cover as it will lose most of its ability to protect once it’s actually cracked.

I’ve gone through 2 of these over the past couple years. Both times my phone slipped from my pocket onto my driveway face down. The screen protectors cracked but my phone’s actual screen never got a scratch. Got my 3rd one on now and hopefully I can go more than a year without dropping my phone.
