Great, but cracked container
Ritek Ridata always has good quality discs. Shipping was quick. Almost always the shipping could be better cushioned. Just a bubble bag doesn't cut it. I always get the discs with a cracked case and have to switch them to other empty cases I have saved in the past. I very seldom get a bad write with Ridata discs.

has always produced a consistently great product at a great price that stands the tests ...
Ritek, although they don't advertise, has always produced a consistently great product at a great price that stands the tests of time. I've been using their discs for over 10 years and have never had a problem. Helpful Hint: Purchase a good and reliable BD-R burner for great results.

Has Ritek Ridata changed production standards?
These use to be good quality discs for the price. However after this last 50-Pack I have purchased, I have had nothing but issues getting to the end of the spindle. One of the issues I'm having is my burner is not writing data to the disc. Normally when I am done burning a disc I pop it back into my drive to check the file system and make sure the data is readable, when I have done this on the last 10 or so discs I have burned, the disc pops up the windows message "what would you like to do with this disc" almost as the whole burning process never took place. I have even tried to re-burn the data and get the same results. Researching this issue leads to the dye on the disc not being manufactured properly and it's not a issue with my burner. In conclusion I have bought many spindles of these and have never had issues until now.

Works for me
Very good

They work great for me.
Use them for family videos and other projects. Coating is a little duller than others I've experienced. But that is not a problem since I coat my discs with a gloss spray enamel.

So Far So Good!
Now I've only burned two discs so far (doing a large scale video backup project so it's taken weeks to get to this point) but I've had no issue with the discs themselves, three weeks later and both discs I've burned still work perfectly fine... and if they last the first few weeks then I'm sure they'll last quite a while longer.

Passed readbackk
I bought 50-disc cakeboxes from Optical Quantum, Plexdisc, Smartbuy, Imation, and Ridata. I burned them all with 24 GB of data on the same BD-R burner at their rated speed, and read them back on 5 different BD readers. If a disc failed readback, I switched BD readers with one that had successfully read back a BD-R disc.Optiical Quantum readback failed at 1 GB on 2 BD burners. Plexdisc failed at 3 GB, and read back very, very slowly (and in fact never completed the full readback) on the second reader.Smartbuy, Imation, and Ritek succeeded readback twice, on different BD readers.

Works as well as more expensive ones.
I was worried that these (at the price) might not be good quality but the dozen or so I have recorded on so far have all been fine.
