Great product, color and easy to use.

And I wanted to evaluate more than one stake style/type so I did also have the metal ones that look similar to these and the plastic tent-style stake. I used a rubber mallet to make sure they were pounded down as neatly and deeply as possible to keep the weed barrier in place. These are okay...I felt I had to be a little more gentle and delicate when pounding these in because they were plastic. At least compared to the more solid tent-style stakes which were also plastic. The metal ones that look very much like these were easy to pound in because I didn't worry about snapping them when pounding them into the ground. So, as far as these plastic ones go, if I already had soft, friable dirt under the weed barrier (like cutting into the barrier to plant flowers/vegetables) so the stakes just slide down in the soft soil, these would be the easiest ones to use. I am fixing another type of issue in my yard with clay soil that can be difficult...I had to be extra careful with these and as many as I needed to hold the barrier down, I would rather use the steel ones that I don't have to be gentle with.

I used these in my flowerbed to keep out the weeds. I laid down the plastic and used spikes to secure the plastic. I had used other styles before but none of them had the buffer washers. The washers really made a difference in securing the plastic. The pegs are really easy to use and stay in place as they should. The best thing is that they are green and don't stick out in my flowerbed. I need more and I would highly recommend

I use these for holding down the hoses on my rainbird system. they work well for that.

First the rubber coated two prong stakes are sturdy yet a little flexible. They easily penetraited the extra thick layer of plastic weed barrier, and drove one side trough the rubber edging and then the layer of rock hard Trees clay.!! The Game Changer is the metal ring that stabilizes the stake by increasing the surface area and that entire bed is solid in the ground!! Great product, I have many new beds planned for our yard. Highly recommend.
