Junk quality clip nut
Junk!!! Overpriced and poor quality. Replacing gas tank straps on a GMC Sierra and the clip nut broke in two soon as I went to slide it over the hole using next to no effort at all. I had to wrestle the nut in place above the frame rail by hand and try and hold it while I wrestled the tank, strap, and bolt in place. You can just reach over the frame to get at the front one. Thankfully the other one held and I got it bolted up but not before massive cursing and eyes filled with crud. Would not recommend these to anyone look for better quality there must be something else out there. I only bought these because it came up as a suggestion when I was buying the straps. HumbugAmazon service and delivery was fine though. It’s the product that’s very poor quality

Clip nut failure!
Shipping, supply, availability from this vendour was great - the product came the next day. thank you.However, the whole purpose of this stupid product is that the clip nut slides onto the under neath of the vehicle to allow you then to thread the bolt through the fuel tank strap and then tighten it up into said clip nut. Well, on tightening up the bolt, the clip nut broke. It has now left me with a spinning nut which I can't access due to the stupid car design (who designs these things!) and a half suspended fuel tank. My only option is to cut the new bolt and push it through into the void of the undercarriage of the car, and then buy a new clip nut / bolt. PIA! I can use a grinder due to sparks / petrol tank!!! so will have to hand saw.... Unfortunately, it's a Sunday and I need this product now, so Amazon can't help me. this product is hard to find elsewhere so I will take the old clip nut / bolt with me to a shop to find suitable replacement parts. Joy.
