I had been stepping over a MOUNTAIN of shoes in my tiny closet for the better part of a year. I guess that's what happens when you end up moving in with your Fiancé and you're used to your own spacious walk in closet but now you have to share and seriously downsize. Hey, anything for the man I love but I was actually losing my mind because my shoes were still living in a box in a corner of the closet and all the other pairs were just piled up in the middle of the closet floor. I still have PTSD from the experience I am pretty sure. I was looking for a cost-effective, temporary solution and these shoe racks were the perfect find. We measured the closet and we could fit two in there. It has saved my relationship! Now when I go grab a pair of shoes I can actually make an informed decision because I can actually SEE all of my shoe options. It's not super sturdy but for a temporary solution it works just fine.

My shoe rack arrived today. It took about 10 minutes and a modicum of common sense to assemble. After ensuring that the rods were properly aligned I used a small rubber mallet to apply some additional pressure to the joints beyond what I had applied manually,It's important to remember that this product is not an expensive wooden rack designed to be installed in a custom closet. It's plastic designed to serve a utilitarian use with a price tag under $25.00.After assembling the product I added 1 pair of dress boots, 2 pair of New Balance running shoes, 3 pair of Sperry Top Siders, 1 pair of substantial LL Bean hiking boots & a pair of flip flops. If I find that the product suddenly collapses or is in some other way insufficient I'll update my review but in the interim I merely caution you to read the product information and understand what you can expect from it. If you’re not willing to do that, your review is of no value to anyone.

Product much as expected.Pros:LightweightReasonably easy to put together - about 10 minutes.Length and width adequate.Reasonable stable construction.Sheer / open profile makes closed or install area look less cluttered as opposed to a solid component construct might.Fulfills intended purpose of ordering shoes in a closet.Stackable -- can add more levels later.Cons:Round metal tubes fit into plastic end caps -- OK for shoes, but round tubes will not allow most anything else to be placed on shelf as do some some flat-slatted or solid shelf alternatives. Not a big deal though.Not particularly attractive, but OK for a closet, etc., not for open room or hallway aesthetics.Lower shelf rests directly on ground -- some designs have space between lower level and floor, allowing shoes or other item placement.A bit pricey at $15 for the quality.All in all a decent product and meets expectations of construction and functionality. Would recommend for basic applications, but not for aesthetics.

One of the best purchases I’ve made! I actually ended up buying three of these, two for shoes and one for dividing socks, stockings, etc on the top shelf of my closet. I finally got my closet back! It’s amazing how well this works... I fit 5 pair on each row. I put a piece of cardboard (from the box it shipped in) above the long length of the shelf and then I was able to put heels on the ‘shelf’ without them falling through. On one, I didn’t add the bottom row and that allowed me to put booties there and taller boots above. Think outside the box with these shelves... they can flip upside down to create more space or be used for a second shelf to hold clothes. Sturdy enough for a long desk to organize desktop items.

It came with no instructions, had to look at the picture to put it together. Gave it three stars because it may survive few months, not sure! It is cheap stuff, metal or not I 'm not sure but plastic attachments are so cheap, two of the connecting pieces are broken. Didn't return because have no desire to pack and take it back or schedule for pick up. One piece of advise - after aligning rods and sides together, use mallet to gently push the rods in, both sides so it may not give away.....

Maybe not "fancy" but heck...it's in a closet! Lightweight and serves the purpose. Takes about 5 minutes to assemble, which is pretty simple

Very nice shoe rack if you're looking for something basic and not fancy. Extremely easy to assemble right out of the box; it fits together and ready to use literally within 10 minutes after opening the box. My GF tells me it may be less suited for a woman as it is not especially good for shoes with heels. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is I feel like it may be just a little overpriced for such a basic put together unit. Otherwise, pleased with purchase and it does the job.

I bought this shoe rack to use under my desk at work. I've had it for a little over 2 years, and it's held up beautifully. I do notice that if I have too many pairs of boots on it, it does tend to fall apart, but it's very easy to put back together, and once I moved it to a section of my desk where I don't brush up against it as much, it doesn't disassemble as frequently.
