Decent Neck, Looks Good
First off, this neck is not an exact replacement for a LP, just to be clear. It will also require a bit of modification to get it to fit and mounted correctly. You will also need 10mm tuning screws, the stock tuners from Epiphone are to small. The quality was surprisingly decent. I have one fret that will need to be filed down on the first string, but surprisingly, every other fret sounds great. Essentially, a small tune up and this thing is ready to go.Price is quite honestly pretty amazing for what you get. It's not a perfect neck, but it most certainly does the job, and with a few minor tweaks, you have a custom neck that looks good and sounds great.Durability will obviously take some time to show. It seems pretty solid and well built, though. I will update with more information as needed.Overall, I'd say a good purchase if you need a replacement neck for a LP. Is it perfect, no. But it will do the job and I think it looks kind of cool as a custom guitar that I modified myself. Definitely worth buying in my opinion.

Inspect the neck upon receipt.
Years ago, a friend at work decided to try building his own guitars and quickly backed out. He sold off a lot of the components he'd bought to me at a good deal.During those years I got into 3D printing and designing my own 3D models. I recently realized I nearly had everything needed to 3D print my own guitar body. I realized I needed a neck, not wanting to print that and picked this.Well, you can see why I said what I said in the review title. After opening the dented box this neck came in, I saw the horrendous crack that's shown in the photos. These necks are lightly wrapped in thin foam sheet or thin bubble wrap, tossed in a box and sent out.Since this was fulfilled by Amazon, I began to process a return and decided to try replacing the neck instead of a refund. I'm happy to say the replacement neck I got is undamaged! So again, if you order this neck, carefully inspect it upon receipt.Regarding the neck itself, I haven't finished the guitar body so I can't comment on it's use. I can say that what I'm seeing so far is decent. Not great, but not bad. The paint clearcoat feels like it'll wear quickly, but given I don't like sticky, glossy necks, I'm fine with that. Frets are seated well, though I am going to take a jeweler's file to a few of them. They aren't protruding beyond the neck enough that I worry they'd cause injury, but I still prefer a smoothed edge. The nut looks okay but until I mount this neck to a guitar body and string it up, I can't directly state how good or bad the nut actually is.I'll update this review once I get the neck mounted and start playing my printed guitar, but for the time being, I wanted to share my experience and warn other buyers to carefully inspect this neck if they get one.

Frets and Nut need work
Overall the neck seems like it will do the job, but it’s going to require some work. The good:Neck is straightCompared to my Gibson LP Custom, from a distance, it looks like a solid replicaInlay quality seems improvedAffordableThe bad:The frets are a disaster, lifting up in places and EXTREMELY sharp in others. I’m going to have to level and file for a few hours before this is safe to play.Packaging was a thin layer of bubble wrap and thin foam wrap, which the neck wore through in shipping. The nut is garbage. Will be replacing. If you don’t mind elbow grease, get it.

Nice
Nice neck! Came well packaged, well wrapped and in two boxes. Neck was undamaged woho! Nice and straight, no twist to it at all, Nice finger board ( needs cleaning and oiling) frets are good, tight, but yes needs work on the frets and we all know at this level most all do! Fit and form all good! East to install in body, simple! Had to inlarge tuner holes at neck for 10mm tuners, easy. All set up and plays very well woho! In my experience this was a nice product. Thank you, also arrived on date quoted. Again, thank you

Arrived Damaged
I received the neck from the Post Office and it had been damaged in shipping. Though rough handling caused the damage, the necks are not packaged to prevent it. A simple soft cardboard box is not sufficient to prevent damage during shipping. A padded box would be more appropriate. The neck itself is a bolt-0n neck, not s set neck as Gibson and Epiphone use. With a little woodworking skill it can easily be converted to a set neck, but it is not designed to be installed that way.For the price, the workmanship is what I expected. A good neck for a bolt-on neck guitar project.
