Loftus Adult Satin Ribbon Halloween Costume Top Hat, Purple, One-Size (7.25")

Bought this to use as a basket for prizes for an Alice in Wonderland fun run, thinking it was mad hatter-y. For context the prizes were things like gift cards, a book, and chocolate. The race ended in a tie based on number of laps, so I offered the boy who finished first a choice between the hat with the ice cream gift card, or the restaurant gift card and book. The boy picked the hat then ended up trading the gift cards to the girl for the book because, according to his mother, he only picked the ice cream prize because he wanted to be sure he got that hat! He walked off from the awards ceremony wearing that hat with the biggest grin ever. Super worth it!

Used this hat as a joke/gag gift for an inside joke about the song purple hat. It served its purpose and provided a big laugh to several people. The hat itself is not bag for a cheap prop hat. It arrived nicely packaged and wasn’t smushed at all. Decently made and very purple. I replaced the stock band with a handmade cheetah print one. It fit well on both adult male and female heads.

This was also an item that was for my daughter's prom. She kick this head out and she lookes awesome in this hat.

We’ll suited for large heads as it fit my husband perfectly. Packaged very well and, even when it rained at the convention, the hat held up well to the weather. It is a vary grape purple but that’s what I wanted so very happy.

This coming from a self-declared hat snob: This is a decent quality costume hat. Yes, you get what you pay for, but if it's simply a hat to wear for one day, it's really not bad at all! Doesn't really look "cheap," like something you'd find at a party store. I'm wearing it for one day as the Penguin, and am totally happy with the quality for the price I paid!
