Another wonderful read by Ms. Dohner, let's hope there will be more.
I really enjoyed Roth's story. I'm hoping that it will be followed by Maith's soon. I'm going to say that I really enjoy Laurann Dohner's work but I don't enjoy being left hanging wondering if she is going to write any more of a series. I've bought most of her series, New Species, Veslor Mates, Cyborg Seduction, Zorn Warriors, The Vorge Crew, and the Nightwind Pack in either Kindle or Audible formats. I've thoroughly enjoyed each book in all of them but it's very frustrating when I get to the last book of the series and there's a implication of another book on the horizon about another character in the book but nothing after that. Add to that the fact that there is nothing on the internet any where (forums, blogs, etc) to reach out to for more info or feedback on this issue. I don't know if this will get published or not but I hope, at the very least, that it gets forwarded to Ms. Dohner to let her know we need more consistency from her in regards to her work. Don't abuse your readers by drawing them in with your talents only to flake out and disappointing them by not finishing what you start. My whole point in this is not to tell you that your books are bad. Quite the opposite is true but we need to be able to place our faith in you that we won't be left hanging yet again by another unfinished series while you move on to starting a new one. You have 10 series ongoing write now. Maybe you should work on wrapping up a few of those before starting another new one. You can have all the talent in the world but unless it's paired with discipline and commitment to the people who love buying and reading your work it is wasted. After a while, people will lose faith in your work and stop supporting it because they'll get tired of wondering if there'll be another book in a series they've invested so much time and money in.

Veslor Mates
This is the fourth book in this series. The couple the author focuses on is Roth and Vera. Roth is a Veslor, an alien shape shifter, and captain of the Veslor fighting team that is helping the human fleet. Vera is a human and a drone pilot for a company that bids on the rights to explore new planets and extract resources. Vera and her team become victims of sabotage and the Veslor’s are called in to rescue them. Vera becomes extremely attached and attracted to Roth while recuperating. Roth feels protective of the little human female but does not hope for more since most humans are scared of Veslor’s. Roth and Vera become close as Vera’s difficulties follow her unto the fleet ship. Vera wants to pursue Roth but doesn’t know if he is even interested in her as a mate. This book is right on par with all of Ms. Dohner’s other books. The male characters are not as alpha male as some of her other series but they are still tough, buff, and strong fighters who don’t take any crud from humans. The writing is great, the storyline smooth, and the characters likable and relate-able. I am a big fan of Laurann Dohner she has a unique writing style that is immediately recognizable to me and I enjoy her books. You do not have to start with book one in the series but it would be better if you did. Enjoy!

I LOVE that this grouping is finding love. I honestly hope the medic and doctor make a mating. This has been such a fun series.

Like trying to scratch a itch between your shoulders blades, Dohner continuously misses the mark
I love Laurann Dohner's books but they always leave me unfulfilled which makes it really hard to truly enjoy the books. Her new series Veslor Mates starts with one grouping of Veslors in book 1 and gets you emotionally invested in the fruitfulness of hearing THEIR stories. Book 2 she switches to a completely different grouping essentially making the reader start all over and connect to new characters. In book 4 we still aren't back with the first grouping so much so that I've forgotten names and storylines. She does the same thing from book 3 to book 4. You would think Jessa and Maithe would be next after book 3 delved deeper into their tension but nope Dohner decides to introduce Vera instead of building on the foundation she laid in book 3. Its the same with the New Species series. We are literally 15 books into that series and we still haven't seen any progress for fertility for the female New Species or any female New Species born. Instead of building on the existing storyline Dohner keeps starting over with new characters instead of developing the ones we know and love. She's almost like a toddler in her writing, constantly starting new tasks and never finishing them. All the while leaving readers (parents) behind wondering wtf just happened and trying to keep up. Again, I am a fan and will continue to read both series' and any other Dohner creates. Nobody does sci-fi romance quite like Dohner and I LOVE how neverending her series' are. I never like to say goodbye to characters. I just wish she would develop the storyline more instead of constantly introducing new characters. Like will we ever truly meet the Veslor king, visit the Veslor home world, or just go deeper. With all that said, I'm super excited about the next installment in the Veslor series. I think/ hope it's about Jessa and Maithe but who knows... 🤷

Roth and Vera
Vera is a drone operator on a planet currently under exploration. Only, something is wrong, and some drug has poisoned her and the crew.Roth is the leader of his grouping of Veslors, alien shifters. When he is sent to rescue the humans on the settlement, he runs across just one survivour, who won’t let him out of her sight.Vera clings to Roth as the only safe thing in her world of hallucinations, and it’s not long before feelings start to emerge...This is the fourth Veslor mates book, the third featuring the grouping of fighters residing on the battleship Defcon Red.Vera is a lonely human woman, who has been burnt in the past by human males, while Roth is a Veslor male who refused to conform.Like most of Laurann’s books, this is a fast paced, action packed story, with a detailed universe, and some intriguing aliens.Recommended for sci-fi romance fans, and lovers of shifters.

Now and forever a Laurann stan
I started with New Species and was hooked! I would say Veslor has been my second favourite series from Laurann. Very entertaining but I do wish we could hear more about Brassi's group :)

Leitura perfeita

Vera at an amazing, sexy alien, Roth, is the perfect male who would do anything to save and protect her from the horror situation she’s in.
This book is one of the best books I’ve had the pleasure of reading. It comes alive and I felt like I was watching it as I turned each page. The intensity that I felt and the race against time to save Vera Wade kept me reading long into the night. I loved the way the head jog the Veslor grouping is the one who does absolutely everything to save Vera. This book from the very first page gripped me. I enjoyed the roller coaster ride this book took me on. It’s become a favourite book of mine which I’ve read a few times now. I really do love Roth and Vera’s story. You won’t be disappointed.

Bravo!
I was so excited to read Roth and Vera’s story. So love a HEA. Can’t wait to read Jessa and Mathia’s story next. I’m hoping to read more about Brassi’s crew, hoping they get HEA stories as well.
