Great sketchbook, really good brand

Really good quality looking and feeling notebook! Lovely lavender colour. Good paper thickness. Obviously a bit of a pricier investment, but I was really keen for a "Some lines a day" style notebook as I've just started a training job and I would love to be able to look back on it as a snapshot across the years

Have just bought a second one after first five years nearly finished. All leuchturm notebooks have beautiful paper. It’s also interesting looking back at what happened in previous years.

I have filled in this diary every day for the full five years, and I can honestly say it is so worthwhile, satisfying and beneficial for your all-round wellbeing to stick at it! It is fantastic to look back at the same day over the past few years, each time you write an entry. I fill my pages with plenty of writing (it being unlined works well for me; I can write very little some days or squeeze lots in on other days). It is sturdy and is in very good condition even after five years of daily use. I also use stickers in my book and have filled the back pocket with extra slips of paper, etc, too. I use ballpoint pens, highlighters or fine liner ink type pens in my diary which are great, but on the very odd occasion I have used fine point Sharpies (the ones designed for handwriting) which do bleed through. Really though, I love having a record of the past few years and I will be ordering the exact same book again very soon to complete over the next five years!

This is a fantastic undated five-year diary (I have no idea why Amazon is calling it a book journal). The paper is thick enough to take most inks and there is a decent amount of room to write each day. I do wish the pages were lined as I have messy handwriting. I think this is a very good quality diary for a great price. In fact, there aren't many competitors at this price point. The Midori and Hobonichi five-year diaries are lovely but scarily expensive. The other five-year diaries I have seen are generally smaller and the paper isn't such good quality.

I wanted to let people know the pages are NOT lined. One of the 'questions' above is 'are the pages lined' and the top answer shown says 'yes' they are lined. I didn't read any further answers, to my error, as the other replies say 'no' the pages are not lined. I wanted lined. However now I have bought it I will give it a go even though there are no lines as I realise you can vary the line spacing depending how much you have to write on a particular day. It is a good solid product and I now look forward to using it.

This is a great product. I have been using it since 1st Jan this year. I use fountain pens to write, and the paper quality is excellent for that. The space provided is just perfect to write a few highlights of your thoughts for the day. I am really glad I bought this... and started using it. In my experience, Leuchttrum 1917 makes the best notebooks / journals / diaries if you’re a fountain pen user. This 5 year journal is no exception. I needed something that’s of a very high quality, especially if I plan on writing in it for the next 5 years! This book ticks every box for me!

A little bit bigger than expected but very good quality and feels very substantial. Seems like it will last the test of time.

Uso questa agenda da più di un anno: apprezzo molto la qualità della carta, e il fatto che ci sia abbastanza spazio bianvo per scrivere poche righe ogni giorno, o anche per fare un piccolo disegno... Leggere quello che ho vissuto e provato un anno fa è qualcosa di molto importante per me: mantiene vivo il ricordo, mi insegna a scegliere poche parole essenziali, mi fa prendere consapevolezza dei piccoli grandi cambiamenti della mia vita. Consigliatissimo, anche come regalo.

Ma tante a offert ce journal à ses deux filles et elles l'adorent. J'ai décidé de l'offrir à ma grand-mère pour son anniversaire et elle est vraiment ravie. C'est un cadeau original et pratique qui lui permet de noter ses pensées et ses souvenirs sur une longue période. Points forts : - Permet de noter ses memoirrs sur cinq années. - Format pratique (A5) et design élégant. - Papier de qualité. - Disponible dans plusieurs couleurs. Points faibles : - Prix un peu élevé (mais justifié !) - Pas de pages pour les photos, ça aurait pu être sympa pour agrémenter les notes. Avis général : Je recommande vivement ce journal à tous ceux qui cherchent un cadeau original et pratique pour un proche. C'est un excellent moyen de garder des souvenirs précieux pour les années à venir. J'espère que cet avis vous sera utile.

...besser kann man den Titel dieses Tagebuchs wohl auch nicht beschreiben. Also von innen nach außen: "Innereien": Jeder Tag des Jahres hat seine eigene Seite und mit 3,5cm Spaltenhöhe auf einer DIN A5 Fläche Platz für ein paar Gedanken des Tages. Auf jeder Seite befinden sich fünf Spalten, gedacht für fünf Jahre (lustig um zu vergleichen was man z.B. am 24.12. so gedacht hat über fünf Jahre) Mir persönlich gefällt das sehr gut, denn ich bin kein Freund großer Worte und möchte mich bei meinen Erinnerungen auf die schönen Dinge beschränken. ;-) Das Papier ist nicht komplett gebleicht, sondern hat diesen schönen beige/gelb-Stich, welchen man aus alten Notizbüchern kennt. Auch das gefällt mir persönlich sehr, da das Papier so unter dem Licht meiner Schreibtischlampe nicht so grell erscheint. Zum Äußeren: Das Buch ist auf jeden Fall hochwertig gebunden und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Das schwarze Hardcover macht ebenfalls eine gute Figur und hält die fünf Jahre hoffentlich gut durch. Extras: Am Ende des Buches befindet sich ein kleiner Umschlag, welcher gegen den Einband geklebt ist (zum Aufbewahren von Erinnerungen nehme ich an) und dazu gibt es noch ein paar Aufkleber für Buchrücken und Cover (laut Hersteller sind diese zum Archivieren gedacht). Fazit: Wie ihr sicher gemerkt habt ist dies eine ziemlich persönliche und damit subjektive Rezension, aber nichts desto trotz sind die fünf Sterne absolut verdient. Ich empfehle es jedem der im Begriff ein Tagebuch zu führen oder denen die ihr letztes gerade vollgeschrieben haben. Kleiner Tipp: Fangt im Januar an, denn das Buch tut das ebenfalls. Mir wurde das Buch selbst empfohlen und ich wollte sofort beginnen, deshalb werden die Monate Januar bis April teilweise auch aus Jahr 6 kommen. ***Super Weihnachtsgeschenk****
