L2 R2 Trigger Hand Grip Shell Controller Protective Case for Playstation PS Vita 1000

I was mainly interested in this grip for the added fuctionality of the extra L2 and R2 buttons for my Vita. I needed them in order to play emulated PS1 games properly. I am very impressed with this product because all though it first appeard to be of questionable quality, once attatched to the vita, it really adds a great look and feel to the device, and the comfort of the grip when gaming cannot be overstated. The L2, and R2 buttons feel a little strange, as they are smooth and press kind of funny, however, the games respond to them very well, and the ease of their use makes up for any shortcomings. The product has obvious room for improvement. But factoring in the included screen protector for your vita as well, it is more than worth the price. I highly recommend this to take your vita to the next level.

Okay, so I can see where the crappy reviews came from but I didn’t have any issues with mine arriving broken or not fitting.At the moment of writing this I am super happy with the case and grips. I feel like I have a whole new console in my hands. That trigger L2 and R2 is super cool! Love it! I’m not accidentally tapping the back touch feature all the time now!I did not use the screen protector it came with I had one on already so I cannot speak for that. The case feels a little cheap and flimsy when not on the Vita. Once on and closed correctly, it’s perfect. The L2 and R2 don’t feel like high quality either so I would not button mash those too hard. Also, instructions not that great. To be honest I wish the locking mechanisms were built different cause I can see the case having a hard time staying shut in the future after normal wear and tear.Hope the pics help and I will keep this post updated if anything changes.

I give it 3 stars because it IS functional and works pretty well, however, this is the cheapest 3d printed plastic I've ever seen. It feels like it could break just by holding it too tight. The quality does NOT match the price. I would recommend just 3d printing your own with how poorly this thing is made. Works but 100% not worth what it costs, doesn't even fit properly. It's barely hanging by the tiny tabs that hold it shut.

Overall review; 6/10 on comfort, more comfortable than without the case, but still not the best, those with bigger hands may rate less. 3/10 on Material used, I can see why other reviews said it broke on them, be careful when applying it and it should be fine, but wouldn't be surprised if it snaps one day. 10/10 on use of rear buttons, they worked perfectly with no difficulty. 10/10 on camera visibility after application, no edges are blocking the camera. 10/10 on button accessibility, no plastic blocking the buttons from being used. Finally, a 1/10 on price, the convenience of this item is a must have, but the value of the item is significantly higher than what it cost to make, the plastic is likely made of Polypropylene, the same plastic used on soda bottles, this plastic is around 4¢ a pound, this device without buttons likely weighs 20 grams, the buttons and springs likely cost a dollar to manufacture, this means it's likely around $5 or less to manufacture. I can see this product being around $10 to $15 at market value, but not around $35.
