They work good on our hardwood floors. I used 8 for our den chairs and 8 for two twin beds in our small guest room. But Lord, the stench of rubber is so strong we had to remove them from the bedroom. The strong rubber smell is also in our den when you get near the chairs. Any idea how to get rid of that horrible rubber smell? If not, I have to send them back and try something else. Ok, am adding to my review. Gave it 2 more days for the smell to disperse and no luck. It's like walking into a tire store. They are all going back!

I added these to a couch that was constantly sliding around on my wood floor (so annoying) and the couch DOES NOT MOVE now. Cross that annoyance off the list! These seem very well made - nice thick rubber (measure your couch feet before ordering to assure proper fit). Another plus- this purchase supports a small business! Will be purchasing more for other pieces of furniture!!

I purchased to put under my desk and chairs to protect my laminate floors. I was very surprised when I received them, not thin, lightweight plastic but heavy solid rubber. The legs of the chairs and desk do not slide off of these like the plastic ones. Stays in place and keeps my furniture in place without it moving around. Very pleased and will be purchasing more for all my other furniture. Will also recommend.

I use these all over my house. With hardwood and laminate floors, I could either spend half my life pushing furniture back in place or I could just put these down. They just might save my marriage as my hubby (who is a "flopper") always seems to scoot one side of the couch back every time he sits on it. BUT NOT ANYMORE!! PROBLEM SOLVED! These are seriously perfect and they "disappear" against my floor. Plus, it is a family owned product which I love to support. Only wish? Make them in more sizes! I want some smaller ones to put under my table legs (spindles) and some larger ones for the really large block legs of a bookshelf. :)

We had to replace our office chair. Our 95 pound dog uses it to stand on and look out the front window. He is very serious about this and does not appreciate when the chair moved every time he jumped into it. It was a safety issue and he stopped jumping in the chair. He was not pleased. We got these to place under the chair in the hopes that it would stop the chair from moving on the wooden floor. Success! Our dog can go back to watching out the front window and we don't have to worry about the chair (and dog) moving across the floor. - These were used on the back of chair. We had to use a different model for the front circular feet.

I was looking for something to hold my couch and loveseat in place on our new laminate flooring and these work great!No more sliding around when someone goes to sit down. These actually grip the floor and the couch stays firm in place.I wish I would have got round cups though because the square are a little big but they work perfect so I am very pleased with this purchase!

I bought several sizes of these to put them under the feet of our beds and our sofa. We moved into a house with all hardwood floors, so of course, every time you sat down on one of the beds or on the sofa, it would move. I'm loving them. They work exactly as described. Also, we ended up with several of the 4 x 4 ones left over, and we're using them as coasters. My husband would always get annoyed with other coasters because his cup would stick to the coaster, and then it would crash down on either the end table or the floor. These work great as coasters. They should make them in different colors just for that purpose as the brown is sort of blah for that purpose, but still love them. Easy to clean, too.

I have 4 kids 8 yrs and below and they were driving me crazy constantly jumping on and off the couch causing it to shift and cover up the HVAC floor vent. I'm not sure why it took me so long to resort to researching caster cups but I finally did. I initially bought some very cheap/inexpensive ones from Target but I got the sizing wrong. Target didn't have the 3-inch so I came to good old reliable Amazon. Looking around I found some as low as $3 for 2. I stopped myself from going for the lower cost since I knew these things needed to be of solid build quality to withstand the weight and pressure applied from a heavy couch that is abused by my kids. I could already envision the couch legs digging a hole in the cheap ones. So, I opted for the more expensive ones. Further research led me to find another store selling 2 for ~$7. So this Amazon listing seemed more in line with a quality product.Ever since I've put them in place I've had ZERO issues with the couch shifting! We have wood floors. I highly recommend them. If these do prematurely deteriorate I will provide an update.

1. Too shallow to hold wheels of my sofa which just ran straight out of them.2. FALSE CLAIM No anti- sliding floor grip, they did not grip my tile floor at all. Ridges 1mm deep.3. Made the movement of sitting down on the sofa more hazardous then previously. Am returning the producT MY ADVICE IS DON'T BUY IF YOU HAVE A TILED FLOOR

I have wood floors and my sofa now stays where it belongs. No more movement when someone sits or my dogs jump on the couch. Yay!
