Q: A small circular pink silicone pad arrived with mine. Has small bristles on both sides. Not sure what it is. And ideas?

I believe it is intended to use to wash the pan: a non-abrasive "scrubbie" that won't harm the non-stick pan.

Q: Does this pan have a solid or thicker base? I want to avoid thin and flimsy pans.

It is quite thin, but does have a slightly reinforced bottom. I’ve had it for a couple of years, now and don’t regret purchasing.
