I had bought some blackout curtains from walmart, trying to save money, but when I hung them up in the west-facing window of my home office I could pretty much see through them. These block the sunlight completely for about $10 more, though with the curtain rods/etc I'm using, a little sunlight creeps through at the top. Regardless, I've never owned a set of blackout curtains that actually block ALL light until I got these.They are a thick, heavy material, so you'll want to make sure your curtain rods are installed properly.I have no complaints whatsoever.

I’m able to sleep so much better thanks to these curtains. The quality could be a bit better, but the material is still heavy and the black lining helps to really block excess sunlight throughout the early morning. I’ve gotten so much more rest. If you can splurge on a really nice pair of blackout curtains, maybe you can get a better aesthetic vibe. Outside of that, these do the trick just fine.

Haven't washed yet but they are a good quality fabric and does black out the light. I have put in the dryer with a damp cloth to remove dust for a few minutes to refresh. Looks great. Bought another pair for another bedroom. Like the fact they have various sizes and prices are reasonable.

I purchased these blackout curtains for my home office due to issues with sunlight making my computer monitors extremely difficult to read. These curtains are very well made and completely block out all sunlight from entering the room. Additionally, they are somewhat heavy so if you plan to install them on a double window, as I have, you will need to support the curtain rod in the middle.
