I love these earrings. They sparkle beautifully and are a great size. I assumed that 2cts would be 1 ct. in each ear. These are 2cts per ear. The backs are the disc type that keep the earring in place ...not the butterfly clutch type. They are perfect to be worn alone or as an additional pair in a second piercing. You won't be sorry you bought these. I'm not!

I opened up this product and saw that the post is not gold colored; it instead looks like it is made of cheap metal.I bought this product because my ears are sensitive when it comes to jewelry. When I wear impure metals, my ears get irritated after a day or two so I wanted a nice, high quality gold earring that I could leave in and not think about. Because the post is not even gold plated, I cannot do this. Additionally, the post on one of them is bent a little bit sideways already. I am disappointed, but I will have to return these.

I really hadn't anticipated how large one carat is, so they are a little larger than I expected. I think 3/4 would be more "real" looking, but I actually really like these. I have worn them in the shower, mowing the lawn and overnight, just to see if they are comfortable or would start to irritate my ears. So far nothing is wrong. Very pretty stones and appear to be well made. This is a good purchase!
