The Thoth Tarot Book and Cards Set: Aleister Crowley's Legendary Deck Paperback – October 18, 2016

I don’t see why everyone is so frickin salty about this deck and book. The book isn’t amazing but it gives enough detail to draw your own conclusions intuitively and accurately. The cards are small yes but in my opinion the cardstock is just flexible enough and great quality. Not too flexible and not stiff either, the perfect in between. I love this deck and I use it quite often. The cards are small but you can still see the images fine, don’t get why everyone’s acting they have a pole up their butt from this deck! I love this deck honestly

I like the set. However, I had not realized when ordering that I would receive such small cards. As my first Thoth deck, I'd like to see the detail in the images more clearly.

The cards are small and low quality. The info in the book can be found online. I use them with my kippers since they're the same size and painted the white borders with my gold metallic oil pen to jazz them up. Not bad for the price but particularly disappointing the cards are like scraps of paper and the book is pretty basic.

Excellent still all in box and plastic wrapped but box was a little dented up on the bottom corners but should be an excellent deck for me collection and a replacement for the ones I had that someone desicrated....

Ellen Burger and Johannes Fiebig are the authors of this guide. The cover is nice and cards are decent but the content is useless. These authors trash Aleister Crowley and discredits him but has no problem making money with the creator's tarot cards. They also conpletely mistranslates meanings of the cards and famous quotes. ie, for 10 of swords they use the example of a Zen quote, "If you meet the Buddha on the road, kill him!" Their explanation is completely wrong! Their interpretation is "clear all idols, supposed authorities, and all unreal self ideals out of the way. The real 'Buddha' goes beyond such notions". Here is the real meaning.If, on the path to deeper self-awareness, mindfulness, and compassion you find that you are clinging to the Buddha, it needs to die. When the Buddha was dying, a mourning and bereft Ananda clung desperately to the life of his master. The Buddha reminded him that, "I have withheld nothing. The dharma and your discipline is your teacher. Seek your own salvation with diligence." (paraphrased) Each of us—eventually—needs to be Buddha's assassin.If you want the pocket edition of the Thoth cards, this set comes with the pocket edition.

Wonderful deck. Have made a velvet pouch to keep them in. Honoured by this connection

It was packed in a very thin bubble wrap and a box. There was a hole in the tarot box as if a thick hook had made it. I had to repair the box. Sad that it will never look new. I worship all my decks and maintain them very well. So, it wasn’t a good experience for me.
