Q: Is this essentially the same product as the Lazy Angle ruler from creative grids?

The sidekick cuts 60* triangles! half triangles and diamonds in 4 sizes. I am not familiar with the lazy angle but if it cuts 60* triangles I imagine it is essentially the same. It looks like you can cut other angles with the lazy angle. Hope that helps. Happy quilting

Q: What are the dimensions for the quilt?

The template is 4" tall, the long side is 8.25" and the shorter side is 5.5". You can use it to make quilts of whatever side you wish; this particular template does not come with a sample pattern.

Q: Which ruler is used for the boomerang quilt?

The sidekick ruler. I wouldn't purchase again. Ruler did not make pattern cutting any easier and I ended up having to recut more pieces than not. I'm sure some find this ruler beneficial, just not my favorite.

Great ruler

It can be a little challenging to cut with at first making sure to rotate the right way but it's a great ruler I love it. Made two rock candy table toppers in one day using thos handy ruler I love it.
