I’ve waited to write the review until after laundering this dress so I could write a complete description. This is a wonderful dress, perfect for spring, summer, and fall seasons. The design of the dress is comfortable and flattering. I love that there are pockets. The fabric is a perfect weight cotton, which makes it great for warmer days. On cooler days, the addition of a sweater makes for a stylish compliment. There is such a great selection of different patterns to choose from, and I love this dress so much that I now have it in four different fabrics. The fabric is not too thin, and not too thick. Just right. For personal preference, I wear a cotton half-slip underneath, but it is not necessary. I am 5’2” tall, weigh about 112 pounds, and ordered size small. I have a classic pear-shaped figure, with smaller bust, and the fit of this dress is perfect. I might even be able to wear this dress in an extra small, but the small works fine, too. I washed the dresses in a regular load, and dried them in the dryer. They shrunk in length about 2 inches, which made me very happy because now the length is perfect, hitting just above the ankle. Before washing/drying, they were a tad too long, and I might have had to wear shoes with heels, which I don’t like. Flats are more comfortable, and I am going for a look of stylish comfort here. The dresses did not seem to shrink at all in width, just in length, which is good. I used an iron because I prefer my cotton clothing to have a precise, crisp look, but you could definitely get away with not ironing the dress if you take it out of the dryer right away and hang it up. I highly recommend this dress, because of fabric, fit, and price. I just ordered a 5th dress, in the sleeveless version, and cannot wait to see how that one fits for the really hot days of summer.

I love the light yet not see through, soft fabric. I love the swish and flowy large A line body of the dress. It is not tight under the arms or too wide a neckline. I can slip this dress on and I wear it with a long eyelet trimmed cotton half slip that fills it our even more. Quality stitching and strong seams. Beautiful color, and easy to wash and care for. I tumble dry for only a few minutes and then hang on strong hanger and smooth the fabric with the flat of my palm. I smooth the seams and hemline. Then let it air dry. It looks great the next day. It also responds well to a light ironing or steaming. Love the length of the sleeves. They are almost half sleeves to my elbow, so cover the largest part of my upper arm, causing a slight slimming effect. Wore with a shawl on a cold day and didn't get chilled. It will be fun to wear in the summer with a sun hat.

Edited: my other color came in and the length is about 4-5 shorter and a smidge looser too. Both size small. The 2nd one had seam/stitching issues at all.I have a 3rd color coming. So the variances must not deter me too bad. Overall they are cute, comfy, affordable dresses.I am just over 5', 130lbs, C cup. I ordered a small but was pretty torn based off reviews. I'm glad I didn't size up. This is still pretty loose and roomy, I couldn't gave taken any bigger. Not tight in the chest at all. Assuming it doesn't shrink terribly when washed, the sizing is fine for a loose / casual dress. It says handwash so I'll be careful with it. The material is not sheer. I would not consider it breathable but it is cotton, and drapes nicely but not heavy. I'm in N TX, so we'll see how I feel in triple digits in it. The sleeve are a tad long but I think in a good way. Overall the stitching is fine EXCEPT ONE ARM. ARG. Still wearable but a tad disappointing the seamstress couldn't hold it together for 1 more minute. Lastly the length- I'm short and the just barely misses floor while barefoot.

This is my second dress in this style. The sleeves are a little tight on the first one but not this one, so there are some minor differences in fit from one color to another. The sleeves on both are just an inch or two shorter than my personal preference to hide my aging body's batwing triceps but that’s my only complaint. I might do some alterations to fix that, but not sure yet if I will. I love the skirt part of the dress. These used to be called “prairie” style in the early 80s, and can be made with two tiers like this dress or 6 or 7 tiers and anything in between. I wasn’t sure, when I was looking at this dress the first time, if I was going to like where the second tier began, but once I tried it on I was totally happy with it. I’m 5’ 8”, 235 lbs give or take, and the 3X fits great in the bodice (D cup), waist and hips. There is no elasticity in the fabric; it’s an average cotton/poly. I always wear a slip with any dress to keep it from catching between my legs as I walk, but it’s not see through - I bought the navy floral this time. I can see a silhouette of my legs if I’m standing in front of a strong light source, like any garment made of a cotton-like fabric, so sheerness is average IMO. It’s not a high thread count fabric, but it’s not the worst type of its kind either. Soft and breathable. The floaty skirt makes me feel young again. I love both of these dresses that I own. My other one is a vibrant pink with purple, orange and yellow sunbursts. If the prints were more calico-like with pretty little flowers in various colors I’d buy them all, but I’m not a fan of many of the prints on offer. I’d also buy more if the sleeves were elbow length flutter style. I justsaea frirndat church wearing a similar dress. She said she got hers at old navy. She also said she likes mine better - hers has an elastic sleeve hem, and she prefers my regular sleeve hem. I agree! An elasticized sleeve would be a deal breaker. The cut of this dress is flattering for all body types IMO. Really happy with it!

My dark blue dress is a thin, soft smooth fabric. The cut runs very large and boxy. I machine washed gentle cold to remove the chemical odor, and air dried for 10 minutes. It removed the smell and minimized wrinkles. I wouldn't ever wear this style dress in public, but it will work for hot summer days at home. Pretty expensive for basically a house dress.

Advertised as 100% cotton when in fact it is 100% unknown synthetic. Fits large. Altogether a cheaply made item. Probably worth exactly what it cost. I'll use it as a housedress.

Came in as described. Fits perfectly and is great material, nice and light for summer.
