Sturdy comfortable light weight - good for Linux
As a programmer I really struggle with two features: 1) the caps lock works like a 19th centenary typewriter and is hard to turn off. 2) You need to press Fn to the the | character but, if your timing it not right you get x.I am rattling out this review on the keyboard now at almost normal speech rate without looking down. The key pad is clicky and has responsive mechanical feedback.I opened one of these up. It's a very tough aluminium case and everything is well packed. But two things detract 1) It won't survive liquid spills or frequent very violent dropping 2) it has the old style USB charging port so this will wear out eventually. However, it runs for a month on a full charge will use all day.It is so very close to perfection I would not risk trying an alternative but I expect this one to last many, many years.

It is just okay for me
I needed a wireless keyboard and mouse so I could use my work laptop on my monitor and not have to hunch over a laptop screen and keyboard.Surprisingly, this seems to be the only compact and thin keyboard and mouse combo that does not require batteries, which was my reason for picking this up, plus it seemed like a good package.Anyway, here's what I made of it:PROS -Mouse:It looks good on the desk and the battery life has lasted two works days (around 18 hours) of constant use without charging, I haven't fully tested the battery life, but seems good to me. Also, the mouse is rechargeable (like the keyboard) using the micro USB cable included in the box, so no batteries needed! The mouse also connects really quickly to the USB receiver, so I have no complaints there.Keyboard:I love the 'compactness' (that a word?) of the keyboard and sits really nicely on my desk in terms of looks and ergonomics (comfortable to use). It is pretty solid (in terms of materials) for the price and is fully rechargeable using the micro USB cable (like the mouse). Yeah, I have no real complaints about the keyboard, it good enough to get my work done on (though I have a comment about the keystrokes. See my CONS section below - though it is probably not a CON as such) and battery life seems good to me.CONS -Mouse:I have used it for two full workdays and it is okay. Although the mouse looks very stylish and is a good size, it is not very ergonomic (quite flat and not a whole lot of support) though I felt fine using it and (not sure if it is just mine) but sometimes it will right-click without even touching the mouse. However, a bigger issue is the mouse sensitivity appears to change randomly, sometimes it will go super responsive and then go back to the Windows set mouse speed after around 20 seconds, so yeah there is that.On the other hand, the mouse does feel a little cheap (although I know the set is £35), but I feel with better and sturdier plastics, the mouse would be way better. However, it is certainly useable doing my daily work tasks, but I guess you could pair another mouse if it isn't for your liking.Keyboard:Maybe I am just nitpicking but the force or pressure it takes to press a key could be reduced slightly as it does make touch typing a little more difficult, perhaps with better scissor switches it would address that area. I have gotten used to it over the two days of use, but it is just something I picked up on.Overall, yeah it is not a bad combo but the mouse could be better, there are probably better wireless keyboard and mouse combo's out there, but I don't believe you will find a set that is this size (compact), rechargeable and for this price.

Solid preformer
No fuss connection for the keyboard and mouse via one wireless dongle. I connected to my android phone without any problems. The keyboard feels weighty, and has non two non slip strips underneath. It doesn't move when in use. The mouse is very slimline, and queit in operation. Perfect combination for travel. Both the keyboiard and mouse charge thruogh the usb cable provided. Time will tell how long the charge lasts for. Very happy happy with the purchase. Would buy again. My only gripe is that it doesn't charge via a usb type C.
