YouKnow with YONO How did you come up with the idea for this product? The idea of YONO comes from our own experience. Two of our team members had the experience of trying to use BBT data to get pregnant as suggested by our OB/GYN. We found the process very painful and frustrating. Many days, we forgot to measure or record needed data before we got up. Other days, we forgot to prepare a bedside thermometer before sleep. So, for women like us, we wanted to solve the problem of collecting data. What makes your product special? YONO makes charting BBT seamless and effortless. Good idea, poor execution.
The concept of this product is wonderful, and honestly, it works as described as far as the monitoring goes. For me, I found it extremely uncomfortable to wear. Also, I ordered this new and received a used one. The second, replacement product I received was also opened, but didn't appear to be used.

The only easy part was the
Hurt my ears even with smaller tips so I either couldn't sleep or woke with sore ears. Gave me really unusual readings that seemed inaccurate, such as doling below 95 some nights. Also some nights would sync and give me a few hours worth of data, others would say I had several more hours of data than I should have. Could have been from the foot issue, not sure. The only easy part was the return

Doesn't work for everybody
I really really wanted this to work for me. My toddler still wakes at night and regular temp taking was not feasible. After half a month I am returning it. Yono has not picked up a temp shift when I ovulated, and many of my temperatures are so low that I'm positive they are wrong (I realize they will be lower than with a regular thermometer, but 93 degrees? I'm not dead!). I am sure this works for a lot of people, I just wish I was one of them.

Very Uncomfortable!
I originally purchased this item with high hopes. I knew someone who used this same item and was very happy so I guess this item isn't for everybody. Unfortunately I had to give this product 2 stars because although the concept is great the outcome wasn't so much.It was the most uncomfortable thing to wear at night. I used the smallest ear plug and it still hurt so much halfway through my sleep that I would have to take it out. I used it the first night the whole night and it was the worst sleep ever so I have no idea how accurate my temps were. Once you put the ear thermometer into the base it does give you a blue light which then syncs your temps into the app. That part was great but overall I am disappointed because I couldn't even use the products more than 3 days and issued a return immediately. Unless you are used to sleeping with ear plugs, are a back sleeper, or sleep on one side I won't recommend this item at all.

Glad I found this!
YONO saved me a lot of time and hassle. I bought it when I was trying to get pregnant, but I guess you could use it too if you are trying to NOT get pregnant. The phone app is nice, as it integrates well with the device. I've recommended it to friends as well. As for how it feels in the ear while sleeping, it's fairly comfortable. Included are three different size earbuds. Because the device is so small, you can easily carry it in your purse if you're travelling. Overall, it's well worth the price.

Extremely disappointed; Useless product
The concept sounds great. But for the steep price for just taking your basal temp tho, I expected accuracy, the ease of use and good product customer support.None exist though.After using for about a month, I was very frustrated bc it’s so inaccurate and NOT consistent. I put the ear piece in when I lay down for bed, about 11pm and take it out when I first wake at about 7am but it only gives me temp data for about 2-3 hours and that’s it!! It doesn’t even give me the data for the same hours each night, one night it’ll give me temps from 11pm - 1am, other nights it only gives me from 6am - 7am. Sometimes it doesn’t give me any data at all! USELESS!If it recorded the temp data for the entire night or even just from 3am - 7am, I would b happy with the product, but it doesn’t. It gives me about 2 hours of temp data that is useless and I can’t figure out why it’s not giving me a full nights data, as it advertises.I’ve read all there instructions and manual, I’ve tried everything I could think of to get it to record my temp all night, not just a couple hours, nothing works.The Yono is NOT accurate and it’s definitely NOT easy to use.I’ve contacted YONO several times for customer support, since their manual says if your having issues you can contact them. It’s been about a month and I have never received a response, there customer service isn’t bad, it’s NONEXISTENT!!!I posted pictures of what Yono produced for temp reading over the last month so u can see how useless the readings are. Most nights it didn’t even captures any temperatures.My advise: waste of money for a poorly constructed product. The concept is great, but their design is a failure.

I have been using this product for several months now and it works great. I can finally figure out my most fertile days, which tend to change month to month. As with all BBT monitors, this tells you when you ovulated after the fact, not that it is about to happen. You can watch for a temperature drop prior to ovulation as a predictor though. It is also great for knowing when your period is about to start as your temperature drops right before.Things I love:- After about 2 months, it was very comfortable to wear. It took a little getting used to, but if you use earbuds for music, you'll have no problems.- The app has improved over a few updates - can't wait for it to continue to add features.- YONO support is very good. They are very responsive to all my emails.Things to improve:- The outer cover that comes in the different colors does stretch out over time. I contacted YONO directly, and they sent me a new one for free!- It did fall out a few nights, which is frustrating because it throws off all your data. It took a while to figure out which of the correct ear pieces to use, and that seemed to solve the problem. They send you a variety of sizes so that you can customize it to fit you best.- The lights on the unit are really bright. I take my earbud out and place on the charger/data transfer base when it is still dark out, and it lights up the whole room. I've put some electrical tape over the lights to deal with this.
