Holland Propane Gas Companion Grill

Fantastic! Used it twice. First time I fixed a bunch of chicken wings along with two or three small sausages. It took one hour..NO PEEKING! Result was very good. The second time I did a rack of Memphis cut pork ribs..used the recomended time as per instructions..came out perfectly. I just wish that it was a little bit larger. I definitely am satisfied.

I have always loved a Holland Grill. I do wish this had the smokestacks on top though

Had to put screws in one corner of the frame. It was not wielded. Other than that it's works great.

I love it this is the second one the first one I had for seven years still working great gave it to a friend.

This is a peculiar device, but very good within certain parameters. It is not a broiler, you can not sear a steak with it. On the other hand, its none flare design and oven like performance makes doing things like chicken or anything needing a moderate oven, perfect. Tired of flare ups and cremated food, this unit is ideal.Now the not so good. It takes time to warm up. Burner is extremely finiky about wind. Food takes longer. ---and the real bad, the thing is a btch to clean. There is a burner plate that has bend tabs, which makes removal for cleaning difficult and ultimately will fatigue. The grill is a framed wire affair, that traps grease in the frame. The bottom plate, comprising the bottom, right under the grill will require lots of work to get the scortched drippings clean. While the unit is ultimatly safe to use on a boat, cleaning it aboard is nearly impossible. We used ours for a month in the Sea of Cortez, as our main cooker, and we found it to be very effective, roasting whole chickens and thick cuts of meat. It does not come with a griddle, which others have. Have had mine for several years, and it has a lot of crevaces and hard to get to places that have baked on grease, the smokestacks are grungy, and while the unit has held up well, looks terrible. I am now considering a Weber Q1200 to replace it.
