This product was a rare great find, but the flavor wasn't as great as expected. My family and friends enjoyed them but didn't ask for seconds. The box was smaller than expected . This is a tough find so I expected more. I recommend these for adults with an eclectic taste.I

These bars follow the idea of pemmican, but they can be a bit greasy, and the package for the individual bars is difficult to open (I use, and recommend a sharp knife).

This is a must for any road trip. I keep it in the car door compartment and have one anytime I am thinking of being hungry, but want a properly full-protein meal (at least 30 grams of high quality protein) This has 12 grams of protein, so it will be very satiating, and you will not be likely to accidentally eat something with useless calories in it. (Don't do that to yourself). Note: I keep some trauma shears in the car door compartment as well, because these are really securely closed - for good reason - but they are hard to rip open while driving, so scissors are really helpful; good to have in the car, anyway, for other emergencies! The taste is fabulous; very peppery! They require serious chewing, I recommend having water to wash it down. But they are so worth it! This is always my Go-To reward for having gone to the gym and completing resistance training.

I have tried a lot of brands. This one is the best "cleanest" I have found for the price. If you are not sure what I mean by clean I mean there is not extra crap in them and they taste great.

Avoid these at all costs. Not only do they taste disgusting, i ended up with food poisoning for three days straight after eating these. They were absolutely the culprit.

I love these for extra added protein in my day! They are yummy. Great to travel with also!
