This bowl is working great for keeping the ants out of the food. Keeping the moat filled with water is necessary. I also purchased the SoulThink ant proof tray and have this bowl sitting on top of the tray. It really works! I watched a trail of ants trying to get to the food with no success! I haven’t seen any more ants after the first two days! I guess they gave up! Great purchases!

A little pricey for a hunk of plastic, but it does solve the problem of preventing ants from swarming outdoor cat food & water. It's very sturdy and holds a decent amount.

This thing works as intended. I was skeptical that the water moat was going to be too shallow and not wide enough. I ordered a bowl with a similar design on amazon and it looked great in the photos and descriptions, but the moat was so little that it barely held any water so it was essentially pointless. This one actually has a deep and wide moat, large enough that you don't have to over fill it. So no water spill messes on the floor when moving it around and you don't have to worry as much about the moat water instantly evaporating. The color is OK. I would prefer if there were different options though like black or gray. But if hospital gown blue is your thing, then you will love the color of this. The size of the dish is fairly large. You can hold a lot of food or water in it. It's not heavy, but it's heavy enough that on its own it doesn't really slide all over the floor and stays in place. I would absolutely recommend that you look no further. This is a great investment to help reduce or eliminate an ant infestation in your cat food.

Works great by keeping ants away from cat food. I use it to feed outdoor feral cat. Only wish it would keep flies away too.

This double anti ant bowl is made sturdy and will hold a fair amount of food and water and it will keep the ants out if you make sure the moat is full of water and doesn't have food or whatever in it where the ants can walk acrossed it so I was thinking this was a really good bowl but it's really easy to step on the edge of it and the whole thing will literally flip over and all your pets water and food will be all over the place so because of that It's not designed as good as I thought sadly and I'm only giving it a 3 out of 5 for that reason but otherwise it's made sturdy and it does what it's supposed to do!
