I am so glad I bought this molcajete! It will be an heirloom. The flavors of the freshly ground spices are incomparable. My mother had a small one when I was growing up and the flavors are not comparable to pre-ground spices. The size of the 7 inch is perfect. I highly recommend this product!

First one arrived broken, but Amazon quickly replaced. It is heavy, but that is to be expected from stone. Grinding spices and herbs has really taken my salsa game up a notch
