Comfortable at the get go. Fit to size and well made.

Based on other reviews I ordered these for hiking and what a great buy! right out of the box they were comfortable and we hiked 3.5 miles the first day with no issues. They did not need a break in period at all. I did go up 1/2 a size and am glad I did. Room for toes and thicker socks.

They’re perfect for Arizona hiking and walking the dogs. Very comfy and breathable. I haven’t noticed any prickly things making their way inside the shoes yet. I am usually a size 6, purchased a 6.5 which is just enough for regular socks, not thick hiking socks but thats okay as I consider these summer hikers. I plan to test them in the alps this fall so I will update the review in a couple of months. Reason for 4 vs 5 stars… one of my shoes had a small half inch sized piece of masking tape on the suede of the shoe. Unfortunately it left sticky residue that I can’t get off. I don’t know who did this, but the shipper/seller really needs to check their merchandise and disclose defects. If it was a bigger spot I would have returned them, but I can live with it. Unfortunately this is not the first time I have had to trade quality for convenience with Amazon purchases.

Quality quality quality, great support, comfortable and well made. A great alternative to ugly orthopedic shoes. I bought them in lots of colors.

Shoes fit nicely (ordered regular size). Very comfortable and not too heavy. I use them around town and on the trail. Good sole to prevent slippage on loose rocks or wet surfaces. I am not a "tennis shoe" wearer and find these a great alternative.
