It starts with the title, which is an excellent choice, and that message continues the moment you open the book, right from the first pages. While everyone uses the words "Digital Transformation" for the millionth time, the authors selected "Building a Digital Future." Those words hit the mark for what companies need to embrace to stay relevant. As you will read, it is not always a complete overhaul of your IT infrastructure and Business Software applications. It is about modernizing your Enterprise IT and building a digital future, one step at a time, and is achievable for everyone.All stories in this book help in that process, no matter where you are in your journey. I trust most of you remember the ad Apple had when the iPod came out: "1,000 songs in your pocket." This book is like having a team of consultants and their years of experience in your pocket. In addition to that, the actual customer stories about their experiences and recommendations are an excellent addition to each chapter and genuinely worth reading. It is a great book to help you select the product, the right partner, reviewing processes, and deciding your ongoing digital journey. Or, as the authors say, "Building a Digital Future." What did I like about this book?Everything!I earn my bread and butter as a Dynamics 365 Functional Lead and I thought I was doing pretty good. But this book has really changed my mindset.Many of the suggestions were things I was doing already, and many many were things I hadn't thought of, or didn't know were possible, and I've implemented most.I was only 1/2 way through the book and I decided to buy 20 copies and have it delivered to my team and recommended this book to my customers too.The advice, tips, and best practices in this book are immediately applicable regardless of what stage your Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation project is.This book is highly recommended to any Dynamics 365 professional/customer reading this review. I love learning and I learnt lots about implementing a Digital Transformation Strategy using Dynamics 365 and Power Platform thanks to this book.
