Love this little bamboo water feature!
This was very easy to put together and we all love the gentle sound the water makes. I've tried several set-ups using the galvanized tub in these photos. The first one with nothing but water and decorative black rocks. This made the most sound but it's not loud by any means. Second photo with round crock and a round glass plate for the water to fall on. I had hopes the birds would be attracted to the sound of the water. I put the grape jelly on there to attract my orioles to the water feature while they dined. Third one is my favorite and prettiest. My sister made the ceramic plate the water is falling on and it's held up by the same small round crock. I've cleaned the whole thing a couple of times as the rocks, water intake tube, and insides of the tub get sort of slimy but it's easy. The little pump is great and cleans easily by running clean water over it, and if necessary, using an old toothbrush to clean any debris caught in the intake. There is a tiny bit of mold on the bamboo which surprised me. All in all, despite the somewhat high cost of something like bamboo I love this little water feature.

Love this pump!
A friend of mine gave me a broken concrete fountain that still held water. I wanted to turn in back into a working fountain. I began a tedious search on Amazon to find the perfect pump. After reading reviews on several different pumps, I kept coming back to this one. I'm so happy I did, because it turned out to be the perfect fit. It arrived in 2 days. Super simple to hook up, and looks beautiful. Highly recommend this product.

worth it
I bought it for my pot pond, It has been running since 15 days now, I switch it off in the night, runs the whole day, no noise, pumps just the right amount of water, looks pretty, but to place it on the pot was a bit difficult as the width of the pot was more wide, I couldn't place it to the edge of the pot, It would fit small size or a narrow mouthed pot better. its running for now, lets see how long it lasts.

Look no further - Best water fountain concept EVER!!!!
I had been looking for a real fountain for years. I kept wasting my money with fountains that were barely audible but then I saw this and gave it a try. I am more than happy. One I do NOT hear the motor. Ever. Second, I really hear the water and ONLY the water. And third I can use my own bowl. For now I am using a ceramic salad bowl but will go and buy a deeper bowl. One thing to be aware of when you purchase, the manufacturer sells some made for shallower containers, and others like the one I bought better fitted for deeper containers. This makes a difference, because water may be splashing around, depending on how your bowl fits. I plan to buy a second one to put in my bedroom at night. For now, since I do not have the right bowl but still want to use it, I put a tray underneath the bowl to catch some of the water. Cannot recommend it enough!!!

Nice but way overpriced
It's easy to make something really special looking with this, but it is very pricey for what it is. It's very easy to set up, but it is a bit top heavy so I had to find a way to secure it. Luckily, my pot had holes in it to attach the bamboo handles you see, so I ran some zip ties for now. I also had to cut back the spout a bit cause it was almost over the edge of the pot. I would give 5 stars if it were 10.00 to 12.00 cheaper.

ALL GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGE
Boy, This little 7" bamboo water fountain pump has proved me wrong! when I first look at it, I thought it would be too short cross wide, and probably fall right into bottom of my 12" gorgeous Cherry Blossom fish bowl-I thought I would return this without putting it on the fish bowl. I putted aside for last trial while I was working with other 12" bamboo water fountain pumps I had ordered came together in same package from Amazon. In my mind I thought 12" fish bowl should go well with 12" bamboo water fountain pump. Therefore, I worked very hard with these three 12" bamboo I had ordered and they are not quite looking right across the fish bowl in term of proportion overwhelming look bigger over the top of my fish bowl. Unhappy, I decided to give this small 7" bamboo a shot just to be FAIR at last but not least, a chance before I return this. To my surprise...VOILA, I have picture perfect well proportion "uniquely" blend well together with the fish bowl right infront of my eyes. Meaning 7" well fit bamboo stand out just right, sitting on top edge ( would fall right into bottom fish bowl if sits in middle instead of the edge) of my gorgeous Cherry Blossom fish bowl, that NOT overwhelmingly to the fish bowl, each stand out and has its own unique look to become picture perfect. Through errors and trials, I learned the trick NOT to cut the tub short instead, rather have the long tube connect to the pump so it would not too powerful as water splash over fish bowl that I no longer need a tall crystal vase sitting inside the bowl to catch the water flow when landed. I switch from electric to AISITIN solar water pump that is too powerful water flow, with longer tube seems to prevent from too powerful flow. It has loud sound waterflow in my garden which is ok because the sun down solar getting weaker and waterflow is weaker. I don't want it runs 24 hrs a day anyway. It is just perfect the way I wanted. I feel very lucky! (I hope it last for a very long time, though)

We set the unit up in a large pot for the summer. Easy to setup and worked with easy to control flow of the water. Only thing that could have been better was the length of the bamboo that goes into the water, if longer we could have used a bigger pot for the fountain. Arrived on date promised.

Okay, I got this but I see the power cord goes directly from the wall outlet to the pump (which is submersible), and while sealed the power cord is just a regular cord. NO power interrupt, not fuse, no power brick/supply to reduce the voltage, no nothing. Just straight from wall, into the water where it powers the pump. So... if you get a break in the seal or plastic coating of the power cord (just the same cord you'd have on a desk lamp), you now have a power cord directly into the water with no safety interrupt. Clearly "Made in China" where safety isn't much of an issue. Wasn't too impressed with that. I'd have expected a better housing for the power cord at least for where it is submerged. I can in my mind see sparks, breakers popping, etc. one day from this. Otherwise the concept, and design is great and versatile. Just needs more of an eye to safety.

Easy to install and adjustable head allows you to control the level of water sound you create in your pond. Much cheaper than at Home Depot or other stores I went to.
