After 8 months of using this sink, I love it. I originally wanted a sink with square corners, also from Amazon. But this one was available used for under $100, so I decided that I don't like the square ones as much. When I opened the box, it looked brand new!After the contractor installed it, the sink looks beautiful in my kitchen, sturdy, heavy, and quiet!I got the "scratch resistant" version, which has tiny bumps all over. I'm not sure if it makes a different vs the smooth version, but I don't see obvious scratches. It looks like the day I got it. I cook 90% of our meals, so this sink sees a lot of dishes and heavy pots & pans.Might be a personal preference, but I really like the rounded corners. They are easier to wipe down. Some people complain about maintenance and water spots. Any stainless steel sink will retain water spot if you don't wipe it dry right away. It's similar to your stainless mixing bowls or pots & pans. Even some stainless steel appliances behave the same way. Personally I think the scratch resistant bumps hide the water spots better. I saw other stainless sinks at friends' homes with heavy water spots.Maintenance: The sink itself is easy to wipe down. The manufacturer includes a grate to prevent dishes from scratching the bottom of the sink. It means there's another think you have to clean (this is true for all stainless steel sink). You can choose not to use it. But I find cleaning it isn't too bad. I use and old toothbrush, squeeze some dish soap on it, the scrubs the intersections of the wire. Remember to scrub around the rubber feet and side bumpers, too. Then I flip the grate over and do it again. Rise with water when done. Take maybe 2-3 mins to do the whole thing. I'm also impressed that there is no rust on the grate.I'm very happy with this sink; it's my best kitchen renovation purchase. I can’t believe the deal that I got on such a quality sink. Get it, you’ll love it.

I have had this sink for over 3 years and it looks brand new! It has held up better than any stainless steel sink I've owned or seen due to the PROTECTIVE coating on it. The protective textured coating has the apperance of a matte finish which at first may look different to you than the shiny or brushed finished many stainless steel sinks have. But after a short period of time they become scratched and the surface looks warn. Whereas the coating on this sink stays the same. As far as the size, depth and function, its fantastic. This is a well made, durable attractive sink and I would buy it again but it appears I will never need to as it looks brand new!There is no need to wipe it down at all it doesn't water spot.I use clorox spray most often or soft scrub occasionally. It always looks clean. 5 star product.

I love this sink. I bought it to replace my standard double sink. I have a granite countertop that I was trying to match the cut out with and it fit pretty close to the original sink. The sink came with several under mount clips. This sink does not clank when I put things in the sink like metal ones do. It comes with a very sturdy rack for the bottom of the sink, which is great to set large pots on to clean and drain. i especially like the deep drain hole. I don't have a garbage disposal so I like that the stainless steel trap is deep to collect large particles of food. I simply lift the cup with the little attached handle out to empty the contents. To choose a replacement sink, be sure to look at the measurements for the inside of the sink. If your buying it as a new sink, it comes with a cutout template. I originally wanted a quartz bonded sink, but I couldn't find the right size for my cutout. This sink was my second choice and I have to say, Kraus makes a beautiful quality sink.

I have now had this sink installed for about a year and I love it! I was torn about ordering the ‘textured’ sink as I wasn’t sure whether or not I would like it. And I have to say, when we first got it I was thinking I’d made a mistake! Having always had shiny finish in my kitchen sinks, this one was hard to get used to. It does have a textured look and feel to it and seems like more of a brushed aluminum look. After a short bit of time I did get a costumed to the look and I have to say that I now MUCH prefer the look! And on top of that it still shows no scratches or water spots. I am pretty meticulous about wiping my sink down after use to minimize spotting, but my husband does not do that all the time and he uses the sink a lot.....and we have no water spotting. In comparison, my sister has a new shiny finish sink that is only about 6 mos older than ours, and hers has some spotting and minor scratches despite her extremely meticulous care of her sink.I do recommend the grate that goes in the bottom. Was t sure if I would like or use it, but it’s great and I keep it in there all the time. Have I said how much I love this sink??!!! 😁

I've used this sink for the last 5 years plus! It is very durable and it still looks new! Super easy to keep clean. I was not familiar with "textured stainless or the name Kraus". Very impressed.

I got a new kitchen an did a lot of research on sinks. I needed to find the right size, the right shape and the right quality. This sink did not disappoint! I have NO complaints. This sink is the perfect size for my island. I wanted a sink with rounded corners because I feel the rounded corners are easier to keep clean vs. the squares off corners. I got the thicker steel and am very happy with it. As far as quality, I had never heard of “Kraus” and I wasn’t sure how good they were. The reviews were good to excellent however, when my quartz company (which has been in business for 50 years) came to my house to measure for the quartz he obviously needed the sink template to cut the opening for the sink. He saw the sink and told me that Kraus was a very good quality sink! I also paid the extra $100 and got the non scratch sink. I have been using it for 4 months and It has not scratched. I don’t understand the people that complained about this sink, I love mine!!

I really like this sink. It fit perfectly and it comes with all the equipment you need to either replace or add to a new kitchen. The model I purchased is scratch resistant so there is a texture to it making the surface it but rough compared to what you would normally see in a kitchen sink. It’s not like sand paper where you will wreak your dishes and cups but almost reminds of running your hand on jean material. The installation was really easy because it has a cardboard cut out so you can determine the sizing. It also comes with mounting brackets. It comes with a drain catcher that fits perfectly. The gasket that touches the sink was a foam one so I made an executive decision to just use plumbers putty. It’s never let me down and the foam gasket made be a bit weary to use it. The colour is a light silver. I think most sinks are a bit darker or at least the old on I replaced was darker than this one but it is a nice colour. I am super pleased with how it all went and it is a positive change to my kitchen.

Great value for the price, I bought the upgraded scratch resistant and it looks SO good. Easy to install, comes with everything you need. No complaints here!

Good quality sink

Very well packaged. We bought the surface that doesn’t show scratches. I wasn’t sure I would like the appearance but yes I quite like it. We like the drain basket as well. The measurements were exact and fit our existing granite countertop.
