Q: How is the quality of this compared to 3m? reason: i've used vvivid carbon fiber vinyl before and removed it from the car the adhesive stayed on car

Have not removed it - so not sure how that go if I have too

This clear bra is not paint. It is a self-adhesive covering. I used it on the exposed painted rocker panels of my new truck, as the sill plates do not extend outward as far as I would have liked. I also applied it to the roof panel where I mount a luggage rack. It is quite thick, which is good for paint protection, but I attempted to also use some of it for clear edge guards on the doors. It is too heavy for this application. It is easy to apply with the squeegee provided. It is a quality product. I would recommend it for uses such as what I dide

Yes, I used it to protect vinyl stickers placed on my Harley, and normal trouble spots for rocks

It's applied with slip solution. This film is very hard to work with. Don't waste your time and money. Get 3M .
