Magic: The Gathering 2021 Arena Starter Kit

Great starter decks! Really help you get a grasp of foundation of the game so you can expand!

This set it perfect for beginners. I’m introducing my grandson to Magic and this set couldn’t be better for that. It includes 2 pre-built deck, ready to play. I wasn’t concerned to much about exactly what cards were in the decks, I just wanted ready to use decks to teach. This met those needs very well.

This product is good for beginners with instructions provided and no overly complicated strategies. Green black focuses on +1+1 counters and should have come with some cardboard counters, just a minor issue. Blue red deck focuses on counter magic and giants. Both can be upgraded to decent decks for an local game store for around 15 bucks each. Would have liked to see multiple copies of some of the rares but that's to be expected.

Has many cards to learn the basics of MTG. Only a few special cards if you're into deck building, but great for starting out. Comes with two sets which are meant to be played together, so you can easily introduce others into MTG as well without mauling them on their first game.

My grandson begged me to get him this and boy, is he excited about getting it!

This is a great way to get into tabletop magic. Not only do you get two standard decks for about $10, you also get codes for you and a friend for both decks to play on Magic the Gathering Arena, the online game. The decks won’t be competitive with optimized decks, but they are balanced to play against each other and is a good starting point to collecting cards.

Bought because I was feeling nostalgic for when I used to play. It's a good thing I remembered the basics, otherwise we would have been lost. The included instructions don't really explain everything you need to know.The in app tutorial does better, but we still had to check online forums for clarifications on certain interactions.
