Spot on
So, I've been playing around with this projector for around a week now and I honestly can't fault it. I had a similar projector before getting this one and this new one is definitely the better of the two. Works well in a pretty lit room but obviously you need the darkness for it to really show off its skills. My son has a small room so we have mounted this to the ceiling and wired his xbox and a chromecast into it via a HDMI splitter box and now his whole wall is his screen, so much saved space. It's quite a bit quieter compared to my last model, the UI is pretty similar, it's very simple to navigate. We plan to borrow it from my son to project some Atmosfear halloween stuff via usb on to the windows to scare the neighbourhood kids.If you're looking for a low cost, simple to use, efficient little projector, you can do a lot worse than this one. Now I just need to construct a box so it can be used well in the garden in the summer. Would definitely buy again, also it was next day delivery.... Boom

Astonishing value for money
I've had this for 2 years now. It's a cracking little projector: colour rendition is excellent and picture quality is acceptable.(limited keystone adjustment). It is best when directly in front of the screen. It has a 1/4" UNC threaded mounting socket underneath - I've put an Arca-Swiss QR plate onto it and mount it on a Manfrotto 055 photographic tripod when I'm giving presentations; much more convenient than having to use a table or projector stand - can achieve ideal height and orientation. My only complaint is that it's now £20 cheaper than when I bought it! :-)

Excellent overall, the only issue is fan noise (common on these devices)
Plus points:+ Picture quality+ Ease of use (remote control and on-screen menus are clear and simple)+ Connectivity (USB, HDMI, headphone/aux out etc)+ Small footprint (small in size)Negative points:- Fan noise, however this is a common issue with all projectors.- The supplied screen isn't great, but you can make your own anyway.

My best purchase on amazon this year
First off the price is tiny compared to the quality of this deviceI was blown away when I first connected my game console to the projector totally brilliant picture quality , I usually play my consoles on the 50inch TV in my bedroom but after using the projector even my big TV doesn't compare to playing a good war game on a 100 inch projected screenMy fire stick works perfect with this and because the weather has been so nice I've set this up in my garden and sat out till the early hours watching movies with the family in the cool night air (try doing that with your massive LCD screen)Bottom line is I'd buy this in a heartbeat again an have advised friends an family to get oneOn a final note if you do happen to have an issue big or small customer service (aka cassie) will walk through fire to help u resolve any issues you have , thanks again cassie.

Not bad for the price
Any review of the product has to take into account. The first projector I used many years ago was selling for over £1,000 so it’s impressive how much prices have come down to make these types of item affordable for non-business users. So, with that caveat aside what of the product itself? It’s easy set up- whether using a laptop or usb stick (you’ll need any files on a stick created in a usable format- so, for example slide shows converted into video files etc). There’s a remote control, all needed cables and a ‘screen’ to project onto. The remote is functional and works well. The white cloth is not really of any use: if you have a blank wall of any colour you’re better off just projecting onto that. Picture quality for me against the screen was not good enough to make out.In terms of brightness and quality of picture it’s trickier to get an in focus image of any decent size: this is where the low price shows: the adjustment slides are cheap and of limited effectiveness and image loses any clarity if trying to make the image any larger than an average tv screen size. It claims the projector is suitable for outside use- I don’t think you could use it in these conditions - I tried to use it in an average indoor lighting situation and it struggled for reasonable clarity. So when would up you use it? It’s suitable for indoor use at a relatively small size: sound is okay: the fan is audible but not too distracting.Overall, for a low budget projector for home use it’s okay. If you’re looking for something for more professional presentations, you’re going to have to spend a bit more money

Great value projector!
I've given this a 5 star rating, yet I'm going to criticise it a bit. The bottom line is that for the price overall it's fantastic.Packaging is fine, and you actually get a spare hdmi and rca cable each. The 100in screen is a sort of huge semi transparent cloth with 6 hooks and adhesive strips to fix it to a wall. But honestly if you have a white wall I wouldn't bother with the sheet image is just as good.Menu options and remote control are simple to use and that's about it. I've used it with fire stick (remember to switch dobly digital off) and watched films on USB stick, both fine. It's a bit fidly to set up at exactly the right angle, height to make all text in focus but nothing a few mins of adjusting won't sort out.Onto the drawbacks, you really need a dark room to watch properly, any sort of light bleeding from window etc compromises picture massively.Native sound from the inbuilt speaker is okay, but nowhere near as good as a normal modern TV. Best setting I've found is "surround xt"The fan, oh god the fan! It's so loud, and this is meant to be quieter than previous versions. Not an issue if watching a loud action film or footie match, but for a dialogue heavy film you've got no chance and best using headphones.Obviously to overcome this a high end 800 quid projector from Currys will be much quieter. But fir the price overall its a definite buy.
