I tried another which turned out to be very difficult to setup a nd the sound was no where near what was claimed. It might have been sufficient for a live in caretaker but wouldn't work for us. I'll be 80 this year and the wife i a bit older. Although I have MS I mostly take care of her. I also am very deaf and we don't sleep together. In order to sleep I have to remove my hearing aids. Last month she fell after I was asleep and couldn't get up I found her early in the morning but she was so weak I couldn't get her up without help. In testing this it it does exactly as I wanted. In fact, it sounded louder without my aids than with them. Only thing I'd like to see is a smaller panic button she could wear around her neck without setting it off accidentally

This could even scare a Deaf person away
This bad boy is ear piercing. I have it inside my shop and you can hear it outside. I think it would scare a would-be criminal away. They'll at least need their hearing checked after. Man, it's loud. I'm very happy with it.
