Bob Ross Scratch Artist

I wound up liking this scratch art book more than I thought I would. I have never done scratch art before, and it's a nice meditative practice. The book is beautiful and provides the back stories behind some of the Bob Ross paintings. If you don't want to see the finished painting first, work backwards in the book. It's a nice surprise to see the picture revealed.

My book arrived today the pictures are beautiful

The book looks like it's good quality but mine did not come with a stylus. I'm nervous about using a substitute household item instead of the stylus so I haven't worked on any of the pictures yet.

This makes a great passtime. And the pictures are beautiful.

Marked as "book store quality" and "very good." 90% of pages were already scratched but I would have to pay to return it...

This is the only scratch art book that I have managed to get my elderly dad to complete! It has the lovely paintings of Bob Ross and what you get is a page showing you the painting, on the back of that page is an outline - I assume so that you can colour it in yourself, and then opposite the colouring page is a scratch art page of the same design - and different designs throughout the book. I think this is really good value and beats all other scratch art books!

I saw this Bob Ross book advertised, went on Amazon for next day delivery and the next afternoon I had completed one of the paintings. Both of my daughters saw it and were so impressed I've had to order 2 more copies for them. It contains all of the information on how Bob painted the different pictures, a full colour painting, a sketch of the painting, the scratch card and wooden stylus (I wouldn't use one of the metal ones) I do hope more of this artist's paintings are used for more of these books NOTE - you don't scratch the lines
