Read some reviews. They talk about screws. Um... it's a pre-built unit, so I'm genuinely curious what the reviewers are talking about. It seems sturdy enough, just have to wait until it's been on my desk for a while to tell. But please, please, please ignore some of the reviews, they're either lying or talking about a totally different item. This is pre-built, seems to be well built and suitable for the job.

So i looked around for a remote control holder and there are lots to be fair but many do not hold the thickness for a Sky or Virgin remote so no good. Also they often are made of leather and have a felt inner which is impossible to clean. This as you can see via the picture is perfect. Holds lots of remotes of all sizes and is not a dust magnet!!.For me its well made and will last years and great for stationary or as a holder for remotes and nik naks

After 40 minutes of trying to assemble 14 separate pieces of flimsy Ill fitting wood, we give up!! I honestly think there is something wrong here. How can there be so many high reviews? We are a straight up honest family - and straight up and honestly- this is a total piece of rubbish. We ordered the black wooden one and now I look most of the pictures are the wire one. I now have doubts about the reliability of the “Amazons choice” badge. My daughter is an GCSE design student - so good luck anyone else trying because she’s just given up.

Unfortunately, as we are still on lockdown, I can’t go to the shops and buy one in person for... half the price! I can’t believe I paid £14.99 (at time of review) for this.Why I am not sending it back? Because I can’t stand the mess on my desk any longer, so, I’ll use it. But believe me, if there had been no lockdown, I would have sent it back as soon as I opened it and would have headed to the nearest pound shop.First of all, it is small, though my mistake, I relied on the seller’s pictures and the pictures in the reviews instead of checking the measurements.Second, it is cheaply made. The little square drawer catches and is stiff to open and the finish is not very well done. Also, it can’t even hold a business card.Thirdly, unless you have a carton back up on your A4 and put it upright, loose sheet of A4 just collapse. See my picture. Of course, I could have cleverly put a ruler in front of the papers...Lastly, it is not that sturdy. Easy to bend. It is not even pretty in real life. Just white mesh.My advice is that if you can wait, go to any home stores, market or pound shops and buy the same thing for maybe a fiver or less.Believe me, If you saw this in a store for £14.99, you wouldn’t buy it.How did this get so many glowing reviews?Granted, it is useful but it is not that special and the fact remains that it is a cheap item. We have the right to expect quality for £15. So, a total rip off.I know that one star is a bit harsh. If the item had been priced up to £5.99 , I might have rated it 2 or 3 stars. Not more, mind you because I cannot recommend it.

Im a College student + find this item useful. The compartments have given me more desk space + gives my mind more ease since all my study equipment is in one place.

I must say that I am really disappointed with the product. Firstly you might need to know that this was made in China. Also, it is not clear when purchasing it that you have to assemble it yourself. And when I opened the package I found the material to be very thin and flimsy ( It looks much better in the picture shown on Amazon ). I found it was quite difficult to put together, - rather than 'easy', which is what the description said -. When put together it looks cheap and flimsy. Generally, I thought this was really awful and I do not recommend this at all.

Very good product for keeping the computer workstation tidy, especially storage of small items such as paper clips, staples, usb sticks etc. Also a small drawer and a larger space at the back which is ideal for notebooks. Much easier to find stuff now. Sturdy and compact, an ideal addition to the home or office.

My 10 year old granddaughter really loves this. I can't say her desk is much tidier! But she can find the really precious things now she Is keeping them in this. It is smaller than I imagined but really sturdy and attractive.
