Pleasantly surprised
I don't think I ever bought a product that had no reviews but this one intrigued me.. so I did. Glad of that too! These were really tasty meatballs.I am not a Dooms Day prepper"but like to be prepared for anything..including being prepared when I am hungry! These meatballs come fully cooked in tomato sauce and require no refrigeration! Shelf life of 2 years and the ingredients look pretty darn good. At the current price point they are a very good bargain.. so good I bought more after trying a pack. The sauce is a bit sharp... but I am Italian and a hard sell there.. but it was ok.The servings sizes.. well it says 2 servings per bag.. 11 swedish meatball size meatballs in my pack.. I ate both servings.. if you eat like a bird theres 2 servings .. eat like a 200 lb plus guy and its 1 serving.Still I am really glad I tried them.Also.if you are GF.. these are Gluten Free according to my package.

Pleasantly surprised, good texture, good portion, salty sauce
Pleasantly surprised how tasty these are for a packet product. The texture is firm, there is nuance to the flavor; not just flat. The meatballs are just better than anticipated- 5 stars for that. The amount per packet is reasonable too. Each packet has some heft. More meatball than sauce, and the sauce that is there is thick. It is very very salty, though. That is where the slight tang comes from I think. Use this for what it is: convenience food, emergency food, DIY "MRE" option, shelf stable, or just because you like it.Not as good as homemade (duh), but not as bad as canned spaghtettios&meatballs. More like the taste texture of a frozen meatball. "does the job". I am overall very glad I got these, as they make a great addition to my working pantry and longer term pantry.I can eat it direct from packet if need be. Though I prefer to have it warmed up with extra sauce (no salt added) to take the salty taste down. Then put over pasta. If need be can be smashed up into a meat sauce, as a base to make sloppy joes, chili, tacos, etc. And of course, meatball subs.If you are long distance hiker and need to replenish sodium, this will certainly do it, haha.

Good for current or long term use
Very tasty. Good portion for my family. Doesn’t take long to cook. Doesn’t use up freezer space

I wasn’t real crazy about the taste of the meatballs.
There is plenty in each package that could easily serve two people but to me the flavor was a little off.

Really good
These Hereford Meatballs with Spaghetti Sauce are really good.I ate them by themselves after a heat up in the micro and they tasted great and you can use them at home on pizza, with noodles or in a sandwich. The rest are for the emergency food collection.5 stars for sure.

Meatballs
As a truck driver I'm always looking for something new to add to my supplies on the truck. I don't have a microwave or refrigerator like some drivers do because of where I deliver so I need food that doesn't have to be refrigerated or heated. ( I have a lot of peanut butter sandwiches). These meatballs in spaghetti sauce are really very good. They are good right out of the package at room temperature or even better if they're warmed up. You could take some of the meatballs and put them in hot dog buns and make mini meatball subs. I'll definitely be buying more of these.

Delicious!
These meatballs are very tasty! I don't think I have the same salt sensitivity as others because they do not seem salty to me at all (I go by taste, not labels).I wasn't really expecting much, but Hereford beef is the best (these are cut with chicken, so not perfect), so I thought I'd give them a chance. They are very good. Small little meatballs chock full of flavor. There's a slight smoky taste to them, but I love that.Anyway, I decided to try them out with the sort of thing you'd have on hand in an emergency: canned pasta sauce, canned mushrooms, various herbs and spices (Italian mix spices, garlic, extra oregano because we like it, etc.), and the result was marvelous. I also added a packet of beef bouillon to the sauce, so that may have helped with the flavor.I ordered more after this test because they really are good. Granted, I have not tasted them out of the packet, but being able to make them palatable (no, GOOD) with stuff you'd have on hand is a super plus for me.I did note that one regular can of pasta sauce (26 oz) plus all the other stuff I added (mushrooms, onions, bullion, etc.) really requires TWO packs of the meatballs to ensure everyone gets enough, so it's best to think of this as six rather than twelve packets. If you are feeding more than two or three people, your mileage will vary (to the negative). So, know what you are getting: twelve very small packets of very small (but oh so delicious) meatballs that are not wholly Hereford beef (they are also composed of chicken, per the packet). We love them and ordered more after our first order/cooking test, but you may not find these fit in your budget or needs.

Taste Awful!!!!
Do not buy these thinking they will taste like any normal spaghetti sauce or any normal meatball because they don't!! The sauce doesn't even taste like it was made from any sort of tomato and the meatballs taste like they have so much vinegar or just something that makes them taste so horrible I can't even put a definition of what they taste like other than BAD! I was really hoping they would be good cause the concept of meatballs and sauce in a pouch ready to go is great but sadly disappointed by the nasty flavor!
