Chosen Foods 100% Avocado Oil-Based Classic Mayonnaise

When I gave up my beloved Best Foods/Hellmans due to the bad oils they use, I was on the lookout for a decent alternative. After trying a few, I came across the Chose Foods avocado oil mayo. Score! It was ALMOST as good as the Best Foods and after using it for years now, I'd say I like it even better! Good ingredients and I could buy it at Costco for a decent price on a quart. Alas, Costco quit carrying it but I found Amazon had it. I had to carefully time when I bought it because here in the desert you really don't want things like that shipped in 120* heat; and you also don't want it shipped when it is coming from/traveling through winter chilliness. THEN the price went sky-high so I started making my own mayo but could never get it "just right." Recently the price on the Chosen Foods dropped back down to an acceptable level (although still pricey) so I have stocked up and am a happy camper again!

I buy this when the price is less than our local store. This is the best tasting healthy mayo out there! I've tried a few brands. This is the best. No seed oil, no sugar, and good tasting!

Tastes like normal homemade mayo, but the taste is very mild, and you hardly notice it. Smooth. I use it in place of all other mayos. No bad ingredients!!

Anyone leaving reviews saying this is comparable to Hellmann's - don't believe them. I'd say if anything it tastes kind of more like Miracle Whip. However, for me, that's not a negative thing. I love Hellmann's and still plan on using it for all of my treat recipes but I was curious about having a healthier option available for meals during the week. I tried Primal Kitchen Avocado Mayo but the oil really separates after a while and the overall taste wasn't great. Then, I tried Chosen Foods Avocado Mayo and it was perfectly creamy with a much milder flavor that was delicious. So, I'm definitely not using this as a base for salads - egg salad, pasta salad, etc. - but I am using it as a sandwich spread for one of my favorite melts. Try a chicken, swiss, avocado melt with this on it and it is divine! The flavor works with it perfectly and knowing it's healthier helps me eat with ease. I'm still experimenting with what this mayo works best with because when it does it's absolutely delicious. So play around with some recipes and see what happens. We all want to eat healthier and have delicious options - Chosen Foods Avocado Mayo definitely makes that possible! I will continue to buy it!

Does not contain seed oils, contrary to most other brands of mayonnaise on the market. The taste is great! The texture is perfect as well (but avoid buying in the winter if there is a risk of freezing during delivery, as freezing will ruin the texture).

A slight difference taste than normal vegetable oil mayo but has the same texture and I got used to it soon. It's got no additives and other toxic nonsense, hence being pricier.

This is the most healthy mayonnaise on the market! It does not taste as good as the super salty bad for us type but after 2 weeks you don't even notice the difference! Honestly you don't notice the difference in anything that it's mixed in with such as tuna salad egg salad etc, you might notice it slightly on a burger. But I'm hooked I'm on my second jar now and I'm now buying the biggest one!
