Steelman16-inch Bend-A-Light Pro Automotive Inspection Light, 9.5-inch Flexible Gooseneck, 5/32-inch Diameter Bulb, Mechanic Light

I bought one in the 1990s to inspect a wing spar and when I picked it up this year, the switch had broken and there wasn't a way to fix it, so a new one was in order. This is an improved model, with a better design for the end cap/switch, so it should work better. It works and is a unique tool to help with getting a spot light on areas that are hard to access. Don't store it with batteries inside if you don't use it weekly. For the price, it works great.

Cheaply made: Did not even turn on and this is not a fiber optic flashlight, the bulb is mounted on the end. I tried replacing the battery but that didn't work either.

This item is unique among inspection light products. The long flexible stem will take the lighted tip into very small spaces. I have an older version that I have used for years with aircraft inspections, etc. and just recently purchased this longer unit with the LED bulb. It is much brighter and has a better switch than the older one. I used the new one for detecting leaks in my saxophone valves. Works great, lasts a long time.

This light is fine for getting in to tight spaces but it’s not an LED. That would give it another star!

The light is pretty good and bright, but the on/off switch doesn't work well - sometimes it takes me 4 or 5 pushes to turn it off, and even then I'm not sure it's off, off, or it's just stuck - I found it on a couple of times after I turned it off.

The light was a stocking stuffer for Christmas. Months later I set it up with batteries as indicated. The switch was recessed and would not come out and therefore was ineffective. Disappointed as it was too late to return and ultimately was unused and needed to be discarded.

Die Batterien sind voll, die Isolierscheibe hinter dem Schalter wurde entfernt doch sie kommt nicht zum Leuchten! Nach versuchen mit meiner bereits im Einsatz befindlichenLampe stellte ich fest, das im langen Schwanenhals ein Unterbruch ist!Wie erhalte ich Garantieersatz?Freundliche GrüsseruwyroRudolf Wyss

poor amount of light compared to the new LED torches , disappointed this had old style LED not the new CREE type that are much brighter.

used a steelman bend a light as a tool and die maker for checking die clearences for nearly 20 years and this is replacement.
