Tastes good, my amateur self believes they help with cholesterol.
Hard to review a medical product when you don't have the medical background, especially a supplement for a condition that may be more visible in a blood test than in daily symptoms. And of course there's the matter of personal problems--health conditions with which it should not be taken (may cause severe drop in blood sugar), symptoms you may experience when taking it under one circumstance but not another (may cause heartburn when taken with food; best when taken on an empty stomach), things like that. But if none of those situations apply to you, and you follow the dosage instructions correctly, this seems like an okay supplement to take. Helps with reducing bad cholesterol and increasing the good, it tastes okay, the capsules are small and easy to swallow... and in my case it's almost a better option than eating citrus fruit because the naturally-occurring acids in the fruit are more likely to give me heartburn than the capsules are.

3 months supply of bergamot extract (polypheonols)
I take this for the cholesterol reason and I like that this bottle has a simple ingredient list - Just bergamot extract and black pepper (for easy absorption). Sometimes they add vitamins and minerals and that would make it tricky for someone like me who already takes a multivitamin. So I am glad because I don’t want to overload certain vitamins as they tend to accumulate in our body. Anyway, this bottle is for 3 months and that makes the price very reasonable.

Good value & Quality
Citrus Bergamot is an extract from the fruit of the Italian Citrus Bergamia tree. Its purported benefits include lowering cholesterol and as an antioxidant, although like most supplements, the data is not conclusive. So I won't speak to efficacy, but rather ingredients, quality, and dosage cost.Citrus Bergamot is rated a 3 to 5 by the Environmental Working Group on a 1 (best) to 10 (worst) scale. It's often used in skin care products but can be used orally in dosages up to 1,000mg for up to 4 months. It's rated as low for Cancer, high for Allergies & Immunotoxicity, low for Developmental and Reproductive Toxicity, and moderate for Use Restrictions.Narvis states that the product is made in the USA in a FDA registered GMP facility and is Vegan Friendly. The only ingredients are Citrus Bergamot, Black Pepper Powder (for increased absorption), Rice Flower, and Hypromellose, a thickening agent used to make the capsule. Overall this is a great combination; having a short ingredient list, and using capsules are always a good thing in supplements. The price per dose is $0.26, which is quite good. I'll likely only take half the recommended dosage, and cycle 3 months on and 3 months off, so one bottle will effectively be a year's supply, which is quite good. Price is competitive with other products offered on Amazon. Each 500mg capsule is largish, but not so large that it'll likely get stuck in the back of your throat, although I could only swallow one at a time. There wasn't any funky smell, and that's always good.Overall, assuming that I tolerate the supplement well (I won't really know until I finish one cycle), I'll likely continue to take this, although I don't consider it to be an essential part of my supplement regime. I kind of wish that they would sell a smaller bottle size that would more easily allow people to determine whether they should take and tolerate this without such a substantial investment. But overall, based on my research on the product, the ingredients, and the company, this is a solid 4 star product. And if you already use a different brand of this, then you should seriously consider trying the Naravis brand.

A Mediterranean Orange like Fruit for Cholesterol that looks very promising ! Edit Lab Results 01/31
This is a supplement I had never heard of which is odd for me considering I take many and have been doing so for decades. Not only that but I try to stay aware of the latest reports and news in the supplement world. And considering my cholesterol is always above 200 (229 last test) I definitely keep my radar open for anything on that ( supplements for Cholesterol). So I was very surprised to come across this orange (bergamot) which supposedly due to where it is grown (soil content) mostly Italy, and the polyphenol ingredients it contains, that it supposed to really help with lowering Cholesterol. And not by a little but by a lot ! Most studies were showing well above a 25 % reduction, especially with 1000mgs which is where this brand is at with 2 caps. I honestly expected to see iffy , kinda, maybe, reports but the only thing negative I could find is "more studies are needed ". So I am asking myself repeatedly why have I not heard of this supplement before ? I did a search on Amazon for Bergamot and there is over a dozen and I am like well ok apparently many know about this and I missed it somehow !?So I am currently taking a supplement that I absolutely know will lower my cholesterol and I have been trying to avoid it as it has some sides I do not like. What I am going to do is put that one on pause and take this for about 45 days and then get my cholesterol tested and see if I get good results. I am really keeping my fingers crossed as this has no bad sides I could find in my research. As a matter of fact this is supposed to/May raise good cholesterol which even statins can't do ( My test will show if my HDL went up). This also may help with blood pressure.I like this brand as it does use black pepper to help with absorption. I used to not put much stock in that but after seeing studies with lab results that more than doubled it ( absorption) I am a believer now. Also this was made in a FDA facility and manufactured in the US. This is an extract meaning usually it's more powerful. I have only been taking this brand a very short while but I have had no sides. These are easy to swallow. My only complaint is that it is not third party tested from what I can see. Other than that I really like this brand and if they are or get this third party tested, and my lab results come back good, then this will be brand that I use here going forward.EDIT*** 01/31 So first keep in mind that you should expect results from what I read in 3 to 6 months from Bergamot. I did this test with 30 days of taking it. And to be sure I was not wasting my time I took this brand at lunch and a third party tested brand at night for a total of 1000mgs. One week before my test I took this brand at lunch and afternoon and the other brand before bed for a total of 1500 mgs. The results are interesting to say the least. I actually was researching if Triglycerides and VLDL could be too low ? And the answer is no so I am super happy with these numbers especially considering it was only 30 days. Remember what works for me may or may not work for you. Also I eat A very healthy diet. Here are the numbers.Total Cholesterol went from 229 to 216LDL went from 136 to 115HDL went from 93 to 95Triglycerides went from 60 to 31 (WOW)VLDL went from 12 to 6 (WOW)
